Abominable undead are undead who are either based on non-mortal species or are from mortal species that have been horrifically distorted.

  • Sbucciatu (brown aether) - the charnel remains of a person lost in industrial machinery that turns the machine into an undead monster [corsican]

Vampires:

Vampires are split between greater and lesser vampires. Greater vampires are intelligent, cunning, manipulative, blood-drinking undead, usually with shapeshifting powers. Lesser vampires may have similar powers and definitely drink blood, but are not as intelligent or powerful.
