Ruler: Sei-i-Taishogun/Emperor
Government: Figurehead monarchy coupled with dictatorship via the sei-i-taishogun
Region: The Tenzanese subcontinent off the coast of northeastern Dabusen
Capital: City of the East
Terrain/Climate: Largely temperate, with extensive forests and mountains, but with colder climes on the southern islands
Major religions: Skill has become very prominent, but all religions are represented within Tenzanese culture and law
Major races: Human
Earthly basis: Japan, esp. Feudal Japan
Symbols: The Steel Sunrise, the Jade Wheel
Notable figures: Murakami Saito,
Provinces: Tate, Onaku, Jadone, Kyazane, Riite, Sasune, the Southern Archipelago
Usual allies: Tara'hin, Zrohm, Wetanu, Winds, Oram
Motto: "Honor The Soul."
Notable laws: Under the sei-i-taishogun, there are imposing laws about dress and hairstyle and other intrusive laws on the citizenry, and a rigid hierarchy between the warrior and common classes, as well as laws dictating the way the daimyos must spend their time (largely designed to keep them under control). The Emperor is considered Divine, but not a God (more akin to the view of Immortals of Great Talents). No guns are allowed in the country.
Military: Very powerful, if fragmented into smaller parts due to each lord having part of it. In time of national crisis, the armies unite to form one of the most skilled and dangerous militaries in the world. Infantry and cavalry and navy are exceptional. Artillery is notably weak, but their air force is impressive, and their intelligence and metaphysick corps are very good.
Culture: The aspects of Tenzanese society are a strict but unspoken caste system, a pantheistic belief system that also honors the spirits amongst them, an adherence to a code of dignity and honor, a respect for any useful skill, and a rich tapestry of art and festival that spans the ages.
