| Description | A rotting version of what they were in life. |
| Corruption | When a Guardian of Mortality or a follower of their philosophy commits murder of innocents with faith, they can be corrupted into undeath. |
| Esoterica | Eternal godless are beings of blasphemy and msawhat. They retain some of the powers they had in life, though corrupted and distorted, and none of spirits, faith, qi, the gates, or heavenly essences. In undeath, they sometimes learn new arts, often of arnum, infernum, sin, negative emotional resonances, some forms of aether (including brown), Damaskian powers, gebvel, desperation, self-denial, hunger, feirua, uafas, parasitic energy, vile energy, poioumenon, kor, paradox, complexity, psionic powers, Raesian energy, blood energy, and mystery. |
| Special Powers | Eternal godless cause intense unease in those near them. They are supernaturally strong, quick, and skilled in combat. They have the ability to drain faith from their victims with a touch, and they can turn other Guardians of Mortality into eternal godless if they have drained enough faith. They can control these weaker eternal godless. Every eternal godless fashions a sword of bone from their first victims. Their sword is incredibly sharp and strong, and it can kill Divines if they have devoured enough faith. Once they are strong enough, their presence can desecrate Divine spaces, giving them power over them. They gain power as they drain faith, and eventually, they gain other powers, including sensing faithful, breaking faith symbols with their gaze, dust form, spirit kill blade, aura of antifaith, immunity to fire, immunity to the gates, Aeonian sense, and soul-curdling whisper. |
| Damnation | The faith of the innocent believers they killed in life determines some of their powers in undeath, often a twisted form of some power of that faith. |
| Necromancy | To intentionally become an eternal godless, one must commit murder of an innocent who has faith in any Divine while invoking one's rejection (30) of the power of Divinity. This can only be self-induced. To control an eternal godless, one must steal their bone sword. To summon one, one must invoke their name while breaking a faith symbol. To capture and draw power from one, one must trap one with seven different faith symbols from seven different Divines. |
| Sending | The faith of those who they killed to become an eternal godless can send them more easily. |
| Weaknesses | Spirits and faith are especially effective, but qi, heavenly essences, and the gates can send one. |
| Behavior | Eternal godless hate the faithful and wish them death and destruction. They lurk on the edges of cities, waiting for prey, or sneaking into the city to hunt. As they get stronger, they build up power, eventually desecrating Divine spaces and taking them over. |
| Dominion Culture | Eternal godless are the ruling and common class of the Godless Dominion. They make up the bulk of it. |
| Other Dominions | Eternal godless do not exist in other Dominions. |
| Mortal Interactions | Mortals of faith sometimes learn of eternal godless if they live somewhere near them, and they speak of them as abominations, anathema to any faith. Most never hear of them, however. |
| Afterlife | Eternal godless never leave the in-between. |
