Description Huise junfa appear to be rotting, often grey-fleshed versions of their mortal selves, with exposed bone at various parts of their body.
Corruption Only those who are guilty of genocide become huise junfa, and only if empowered intentionally by that genocide to become a huise junfa.
Esoterica A huise junfa is a being of imperium and msawhat. They keep powerful, corrupted versions of the powers they had in life, except for powers driven by qi, the gates, or heavenly essences. They often take up other esoteric arts, including other forms of msawhat and infernum, Damaskian powers, Raesian energy, most humors, all forms of arnum, rending, some kinds of aether (especially greenlight, viridian, all seasonal, brumal, rubedian, pattern, earthpower, and fundamental), spirits, kor, yahas, poioumenon, mystery, gebvel, mana, ethereal energy, and blasphemy.
Special Powers

Every huise junfa is empowered by the deaths they caused in life. Nothing short of 1,000 deaths will gain them anything, but for every 1,000 above that, they are more powerful. After death, they must consume souls in those numbers to gain power, which they often do.

A huise junfa consumes souls by killing, or by having others kill in their name. To invoke a huise junfa while killing, one must have their special sigil, usually a variation on the eight-pointed star of Agikaan. This is usually inscribed on their weapons or their bodies. A huise junfa can inscibe it anywhere with their touch. Those who wield it are enslaved to the huise junfa.

Huise junfa have eight auras: unease noise, bloodboiling heat, viscera liquefying stench, freezing light, flesh-rotting insects, petrifying halo, horrifying shadow, and corrupting flame.

Common powers from murder/soul consumption include killing gaze, summoning phantasms, corrupting breath (creates shamblers, skeletons, or phantasms), wraithbraid (binding wraiths into a coil to use as a chain or whip), wall of lightning, animal form (usually a serpent, giant tick, or wolf), flesh-melting mist, bonebreak word, violating wail, etc.

Necromancy

The ritual to create a huise junfa requires an act of mass murder carried out in a special chamber in a death, concentration, or breeding camp. Everyone killed must be of the same nation, and a sigil must be etched on the floor to absorb the blood. A sigil on two walls will take in their emotional resonance. A sigil on the ceiling will take in their souls. And a sigil on the other two walls will take their final thoughts. They must be killed by the same method (gas, electrocution, heat or cold, disease, acid, etc.). Those who take their own lives to avoid the murder still count. The body of the genocidal mortal who will become the huise junfa must be covered in the same sigils and placed on a bier above the chamber. If the chamber is left undisturbed, buried beneath the ground, and the bier untouched, the huise junfa will arise in three days.

To control a huise junfa, one must find the chamber where their sigils are and place a fifth sigil of enormous power (33) on the outside of it without completely digging it up. To summon a huise junfa requires similar power, but an act of mass murder is required instead. To capture a juise junfa, one must use the same sigil on the chamber, but one must place part of one's Name within the sigil. Drawing power from a huise junfa in this way is very dangerous.

Sending Breaking open the chamber, dispelling the sigils to let the souls move on, and burying the bodies in individual graves, each one with the victim identified, is the only way to send a huise junfa without incredible esoteric power.
Weaknesses Liberation power is especially effective against them, but vast amounts of qi, the gates, or other heavenly essences will send them.
Behavior Huise junfa commit genocide. They were genocidal in life and in unlife, they continue the practice, usually enslaving those they had enslaved or employed in life to do so.
Dominion Culture The huise junfa rule the Agikaani Dominion. They are the ruthless military ruling class.
Other Dominions Other Dominions fear the huise junfa and will not accept them into their ranks unless they have control over them, and then they do so with caution.
Mortal Interactions In Agikaan, mortals who are support the Agikaani Empire believe the huise junfa to be manifestations of the One True God's will. Those who oppose the Empire fear the huise junfa as the horrifying tyrannical monsters that they are.
Afterlife There is no redemption for a huise junfa; the Hells, Evernight, the Grey Lands, or forever in the in-between are their only possible fates.
