Description: Obambos appear to be ragged, wounded phantasms.
Procreation: They do not procreate. They are created when a person dies in the wilderness and is not buried, or by undeath power. They are relatively rarely made, but due to the long history of the world, many of them exist.
Magic: None, unless they are allowed to take over a medium. If they had magic in life, they could potentially have it in a medium.
Special Powers: The presence of an obambo will terrify an animal and make an intelligent being uneasy. Plants and fungi even pull back in their presence. An obambo can sense its relatives from life and will eventually seek them out. If they are not rejected by magic or ceremony, they will try to continue their old life, but the uneasiness they cause will slowly kill their relatives, turning them into shades or hitodamas. It is an 11 undeath power to create or control or summon one.
Weaknessess: When an obambo visits, that night the village women can dance and sing, and next day visit the obambo's grave to make some sort of fetish or idol. Then, they need to erect a small shelter near the home of the obambo's relative with whatever the obambo should have been carried to the grave with and dirt from the local graveyard. Drape white cloth over the door, then the obambo will be sealed in.
