| Description | Usually, a necrarach is the torso of their mortal form attached to a massive, bulbous, grey-black spider body. |
| Corruption | Devotion of the Divines of the Spider Trinity or just the Webweaver can cause the right combination of corruption that creates a necrarach. It must be incredibly powerful devotion. |
| Esoterica | Necrarachs are beings of infernum, gossamer light, and msawhat. The powers they had in life become powerful, corrupted versions of what they once were. They often learn new arts as long as they are not ashar, poarta, or celestial essences. |
| Special Powers | To be in the presence of a necrarach is to be overwhelmed by unease unless they choose otherwise. Necrarachs can create webs that, if they catch something (and they are very strong), will drain power from the victim. Once the victim is completely drained of power, the necrarach can eat the victim's body and soul. They can control other undead by force of will. All necrarachs grow in power as they devour victims. Over the course of their existence, they may gain up to 13 extra powers:
All necrarachs have another 13 powers unique to themselves that they gain after their usual 13. |
| Necromancy | A necrarach is only ever formed through devotion of the Webweaver. Only the most powerful, devout, and dedicated can achieve the power (34) necessary for this. No ceremony is required; only the will of the Divine. To control a necrarach, one must be a more powerful follower of the Webweaver than the specific necrarach (meaning only the Webweaver himself can control his Prophetess). Summoning one is possible by speaking the name of the necrarach into a gossamer mirror 13 times. To draw power from a necrarach, one must be caught in their webs and have the will to reverse the flow (good luck). |
| Sending | The only way other than through pure power to send a necrarach is to sacrifice one's own pure soul, destroying it from the inside out in act of martyrdom. |
| Weaknesses | Euphotonia or poarta can destroy them. Other celestial essences and ashar can harm them. |
| Behavior | Necrarachs are the most powerful of all undead. They are feared throughout the world, considered synonymous with the legendary Prophetess of the Webweaver. They usually live in warrens covered in webs, either in deep caves, built into cathedrals or palaces, or other massive structures. They lure in victims, usually through their servants, and feed. Powerful necrarachs are rulers of whole countries. |
| Dominion Culture | Necrarachs are the ruling class of the Srisian Dominion, heads of the ecclesiastical branch of the Srisian Empire's government. The Prophetess has absolute control of the Dominion, the faith, the empire, and her own dark network. The Spider Hierarchs represent her power in the five districts of the Srisian Empire/Dominion, and other necrarachs serve as the next layer (curates) ruling over the rest of the Dominion. |
| Other Dominions | Necrarachs are not possible in other Dominions, as the Webweaver will not allow it. |
| Mortal Interactions | Most mortals know of necrarachs only as Srisian monsters to be feared, far away from their normal lives. In Srisia, they are seen as the most honored of the church and state. |
| Afterlife | A necrarach that is sent ends up directly in the Hells. |
