| Special Powers | Tlahuelpuchi are blood drinking shapeshifters. When they change shapes, they glow. They change form by detaching their body from their legs. They usually become a turkey or a vulture or some other form of bird. They then fly over the house of their victims, forming a cross pattern in the air (going north to south, then east to west), before entering at will. They usually attack by striking the chest while the victim sleeps, keeping them from waking by engaging them in horrific nightmares. |
| Weaknesses | If a tlahuelpuchi does not have blood at least once a month, it dies. Garlic, onions, and metal repel them. |
