Knight of the Empire, descended of Caspian of the Argent-Fire, head of the Argent family, father of Matrim, Viollca, & Datuna. He is the most important knight in the Empire, though few know it. He is a member of the Imperial Special Forces & has his own branch of that group known as the Silver Torches (or the Silver Cloaks). He is a skilled warrior who is faithful to the Father of Life. He is a master politician with incredible resources at his disposal.

He has the power is to have argent-fire, the silver fire of life that clings to its victims, spring into life on any weapon he choses it to.

He has the Sword of Sevens, which he refused to use for years, because of its painful association with his former love, Arjuna del Rey. His son & daughter talked him into wielding it on his mission to assassinate the Atanaxan Emperess. His mission there was successful, & now he is involved in the succession & the siege of Ienova.
