After the rise of the Father of Nature, Taka found his all-encompassing view compatible with her own and became his Seeker. She has been recruited by Kateri to help in the Fox Wars.

I'íí'á Citlali Ma'ii, known to anyone who isn't family as Naitaka [or, more commonly, just Taka], was born to a bicultural Tren family. Her mother was a native of Berellia, her father born and raised in Maraddon. As a result, Taka grew up learning both cultures and languages, and finding things to both like and dislike about each. Though her childhood was a happy one, she seldom speaks of it or anything concerning her history; Taka is a very private person and sees little need in sharing her life-story with anyone who asks. She is an excellent scout and a fair tracker, and has successfully aided Albert Renkarr and the Pack in defeating Chryandemus. Her whereabouts now are unknown, though letters from her do occasionally turn up years after the events mentioned in them occurred.

Because of her Berellian upbringing, Taka rarely uses anyone's true name unless she's being formal or it's an emergency. At all other times, she tends to use names in her native tongue...the two exceptions to this are Matrim Argent, who she calls Caspian, and Aldo Murgen, who she calls Reverend.

Viollca she refers to as "Shideezhi", which means "Little Sister."
