Paul's other deputy, Charlie was level headed & skilled. He had no family, but was well liked about town & often had girlfriends. Charlie was possessed by the dread lord Denthere during the attack on Anlir & was used as a vessel for much evil. He lost his soul, & sought how to revive it. The light church answered his prayers, so to speak, with the power of Sainte Herala. He turned to the faith to find a new purpose in life.

When the party arrived in Lannah, he ended up getting killed by Legions, & Taka's haoma seeds revived him. He found himself indebted to her & is now her sworn protector until he either fully repay the debt or is released.

In Castle Hyrase, the First Agent of the Devil nearly destroyed his soul, but he was restored.

He spends his time with the party watching over Taka, trying to help Paul, & attempting to guide Matrim in the faith.

His ultimate goal in life is to go to Anlir & help rebuild it, building a grand light temple there.
