Set ListsComposition LevelsGM's note: Assume all styles that are traditionally electric have been converted to accoustic for this game, as there's no such thing as electric instruments. All "rock" forms are songs that incorporate folk musics into pop style. The term "rock music" doesn't exist yet on Shem.Album titles get underlined or italicized, song titles get put in quotation marks--unless you're writing a news story, then they're all in quotation marks. Italicizing song titles triggers my insanely sensitive pedant reflex & results in my eating your eyes out.Sunheart

Jack Crane
Dues to Deserel, blues-rock in the style of Kenny Wayne Sheppard. This would amount to Jack having appropriated soulful Taggaran rhythms & vocal stylings for a guitar-heavy pop song. Specialty Song

Blind Man's Bluff, Angsty Stone Temple Pilots-esque ballad. This is basically just an angry pop song with raspy vocals.

Thunder of Horses, in the style of Rod Stewart. Essentially, Jack has 20 ounces of semen pumped from his stomach on stage. No, just kidding. Given his early folksy styles, this is just an odd sounding pop song.
What It Takes to Give A Damn, a very angry song he wrote while drunk

Arlie Battisto
"That's Nothin t'all" or "Song of Feats" - he wants to write an audience participation song, where band members shout back and forth about how they're better. The start of every chorus is done by one person who always talks about something trivial and makes it sound better than everyone else.

Specialty Songs
Various concertos, solo pieces, & other works, 54 of them. All in classical/barogque style.
Aldergast Prison, a soul-wrenching folk ballad about the horrors witnessed in the now fallen Aldergast prison. Co-written with Albert Heartsinger Renkarr
Children of Freedom, political folk song co-written with Albert Heeartsinger Renkarr almost reminiscent of a fighting/marching song although it is often sung in inns as well
The Fall of Chryandemus, a highly fictionalized account of what happened in the Wolfwood, an epic ballad that paints Albert as a warrior prince, Matrim as a noble defender, Paul as a driven lawman, Viollca as a powerful sorceress (no mention of the shades), Taka as, well, a Berellian agent (though her shapechanging is included--it seems to imply all Berellians can do that), Aldo & Daisy as a long established loving couple (& saints of life). Charlie, Wax, Bloodhound, & Ahaus are depicted pretty much as they are. Caradonna & Jean Luc are not mentioned at all. In it, Taka fights Angier, the Servant of Filth (partly because she didn't ever tell anyone otherwise), & Albert goes straight through to fight Chryandemus. Dionysus depicts himself as an observer, a fiddler who plays while the whole battle goes down. Most of the other details are fairly accurate. This is the version of the story that most people in the world know, if they know it at all. Each PC & the major NPCs (save Dionysus, JL, & Caradonna) have a verse, then there is a chorus between each verse. It lasts about 15 minutes, in all.
The Flower Suite, a twelve minute epic pop song incporating strange verses about various types of flowers. One of two pop songs he has written since he became a bard.
