A nightingale who was once a slave in Tamarnthek, she is known for dying her wings black, as a sign of mourning. She is well known for her controversial inclusion of dark hymns in her work, & her ability to hold a crowd rapt for hours with her voice (a capella). She has been banned from Akazad & is a wanted criminal in Tamarnthek, & many places in Maraddon & Kren'atan won't allow her near. She wears the symbols of her faith on the outside of her clothes (an intricate spiderweb design).

While she is notably a worshipper of evil gods, other than her apparent musical devotion to them, she has never been known to do anything more outwardly evil than intimidate tavern owners into paying her on time. She is considered another anomaly, neither New School nor old school, though her style is decidedly New School in a lot of ways--no one wants to be associated with her, but that suits her fine.

She has often stated that she will one day be known as the greatest singer that ever lived.
