His passion driving his blade astray

He watched in horror at the grisly sight
And saw the soldier had slain the girl, o ho
Sword dripping her blood in the night
Rage filled the farmer boy, o ho
He raised his fists like thunder
And fell there the soldier, o ho
Then the farmer boy watched in wonder
The music from the hall came flowing, o ho
The Balladeer's song filling the square
