1. The Sather & his minions are indubitably the most skilled network of thieves on Shem. The number of crimes connected to them go back to First Shem.

2. Yohavane Barlith, once a Maraddonian special agent, left Maraddon to join the Guardians, & has been tracked by Maraddonian agents as a specialist in Gift stealing for the Guardians. His specialty has sent him into stealing things from the other top thieves--thus, none of his crimes get reported.

3. Teloven the Great leaves a calling card behind at his crimes, & has been doing so for more than 3000 years, despite erroneous reports from Maraddon & other Empires. While his crimes are few & far between, they are extremely risky crimes.

4. A string of thefts dating for over 7000 years by either a single individual or a string of individuals bearing the same modus operandi: breaking into a heavily trapped area, sneaking past the traps, stealing the object of desire, sneaking out, then setting off all the traps, preferably while the former owner was in their range. Known as The Trapsetter, this thief or string of thieves has remained hidden for a long time, but it is believed s/he or they are still alive.

5. Devem Olnais, a halfling who specializes in stealing from wealth temples. While his identity is well known due to his habit of giving the proceeds to the poor, his crimes remain "unsolved" due to the fact that he is never caught. On one of his heists, he stole a charm of immortality, it is rumored. He has been robbing for 1000 years or so.

6. The Weasel Thief, a relatively young thief that has been operating in Maraddon. For the last three years or so, this thief has managed to make a huge splash by stealing from the gods themselves. Stories told indicate that whoever this is, s/he stole a Gift from the Father of Dragons.

7. The head of the Circle of Tuth, a small criminal organization in Tamarnthek, reportedly stole from the Champions of Darkness & Despair. Whoever this is, s/he captured a large fortune.

8. Lerus Mysoner, former Maraddonian noble, has long held a reputation as one of the best. His crimes have spiked now that he is out of prison.

9. The Wind is a mysterious Taggaran thief who specializes in "bug raids." This thief has stolen more in monetary value than anyone short of Gift thiefs, without stealing Gifts.

10. Marcene is the name of the thief responsible for 25 years of magnificent cons & scams that involve intricate thefts. This individual reportedly scammed the Kren'atanic Thieves' Guild, the Knowledge Church, & the governemnt of Atanaxus--at once.
