295 / Muriel meets the Honest Man & falls for him. She seduces him. He, being honest, tells the Storm Prince, who throws Muriel out. The Honest Man takes her in, as well as her children. The Storm Prince maintains contact with his son.
294 / Maraddon born to Muriel & the Honest Man. The Honest Man gives Muriel an Echo of the Sword of Fire to give to Maraddon when he comes of age.
291 / Kavian begins learning magic. Maraddon is sent to an imperial court to serve as a page.
286 / Chryandemus convinces his little brothers to join him in a magical ceremony. Each takes their Sword & plunges it into Chryandemus's chest while he chants from a book, not realizing that they are invoking the Law. Chryandemus binds their souls to his, as well as their Swords. The Sword of Fire vanishes, its purpose as an Echo defeated. Muriel discovers the lost Sword & throws Chryandemus out. The effects of the ceremony make Chryandemus unkillable except by the Swords that pierced his heart, & his brothers unable to harm each other while their souls remained intact.
284 / The Honest Man finds Muriel sleeping with an imperial prince. The prince duels the Honest Man & wounds him. He takes Muriel, leaving Maraddon & Kavian behind. She objects & the prince slays her. The Honest Man sends Kavian to live with the Storm Prince. Kavian begins training with weapons as well as magic. Maraddon begins learning about the Church of Truth.
283 / Chryandemus forges his sword of plagues from the lifeforce of a thousand and one venomirs. His crimes are discovered, & he is sent to the sleeping colonies on Ansulym, by order of the Champion of Peace. His sword is stolen later that year when the vault it was kept in was overrun by rats.
281 / Kavian comes of age & gets the Sword of Wolves. His first Pack Member is his brother Maraddon, who he Entitles Truthspeaker. Kavian takes the name Stormbringer & remains in school to continue learning magic.
278 / Maraddon comes of age & leaves court to study the arts. He takes the name he was Entitled with.
275 / Kavian forms the first part of his Storm Pack, picking half a dozen of his school friends to join him in a journey into the wild to find exceptional wolves.
272 / Maraddon joins his brothers rangings. The Storm Pack numbers 30 people & 200 wolves. For thirty years they wander the world, finding adventure.
242 / Kavian meets Aleister Simon & opts to put off adventuring to continue studying magic. Maraddon decides to take up an invitation he received to join the newly forming World Court of Peace, which seeks to forge a perfect peace upon the world, at the behest of the Champion. The two follow these careers for another twenty years.
237 / Giani is born to the wild talent Rheasis & the Flame Master. She is one of a thousand children born to his harem, & she grows up learning the arts of a concubine.
236 / Grusaag is born to the wild talent Norivis & the Zaratan (in his human form). She lives the life of a reever child.
230 / The World Court captures Grusaag's mother's ship. She is found to be skilled in magic & is sent to Aleister Simon to learn to wield it. Her mother is sent to the sleeper colonies.
221 / Giani comes of age & takes the name Flamedancer. She is sent to the World Court to serve as a represenatative of the Fire Court. Maraddon is instantly enamored with her.
220 / Grusaag comes of age & takes the name Fishmother. At her coming of age party, she gets the nerve to speak to an older student, Kavian Stormbringer. The two spend the night together & get caught. As per the rules, both are expelled. Kavian makes her the Alpha Female of his pack, Entitled Fishmother.
219 / Kavian finds Maraddon at the World Court. Maraddon is courting Giani with presents & promises, & she is playing him for the lovesick fool that he is. Kavian helps Maraddon hatch a plan to actually win her. Grusaag, meanwhile, tries to poison the Champion of Peace himself & is sent to the sleeper colonies for it. Maraddon weds Giani before the year is out, & Kavian, in his grief, begins spending his days drinking heavily.
216 / Maraddon becomes Marshall of Truth in the World Court. Kavian, an alcoholic layabout, meets Magnus Jericho, who helps him through his grief with his own wisdom on love. Kavian joins Magnus in the planes.
214 / Aleister Simon dies. His son, Oliver Simon takes over.
211 / Maraddon is sent to the planes to get his brother out of a trap in the Valley of Thorns in the Summer Country.
205 / Maraddon & Kavian return to Shem. They both realize that the Champion of Peace is about to transcend & his Age is about to end. They make a plan to be on top when it happens.
201 / The Champion transcends. For a few years, everything runs as normal. However, the sleeper colonies begin to open. Kavian leaves to regain Grusaag. Maraddon stays at Court. The Champion of War arrives to begin to takeover. Kavian weds Grusaag & rejoins his brother.
200 / The Champion of War comes to the decision that he does nto want to rule a world at war. He rejects the coming Age. His master, the Father of War, curses the world to remain at war until someone can rule an Empire for a 1000 years, peacefully, despite the curse.
199 / Kavian reforms the Storm Pack in the aftermath of the curse. He begins gathering the greatest Pack he can. He names Giani Beta Female, Entitled Flamedancer. Fifteen years of preparation & chaos pass.
196 / The Devil takes advantage of the chaos to find 16 recently wakened sleepers & grant them power. He bids them form a mercenary company & offers to find them work. A business relationship is formed between the Devil & the newly created Indestructibles.
185 / Chryandemus awakens to a horde of rats covering him. They leave upon his wakening, leaving his sword of plagues behind. He begins seeking power in the chaotic realm of Ansulym.
181 / Chryandemus meets the First Agent of the Devil & makes a deal. He hires the mercenary group called the Indestructibles, comprised of 16 incredibly powerful beings. Their leader is the mad Hollow Child of Filth. A lizardman priest of undeath named Hranchak the Decrepit is their next in command. He begins trying to conquer the world.
175 / The first solid nations take hold on Shem since the Fall of Peace. Tarahin, Mwyr Aeld, Vesturia, Galdun, Juazo, Innes, Keary, Tamarnthek, Tenzanai, Ailanea, Akazad, Dhun, Tzuk, Zul'gdar, & Pellforth are the most prominent of these. Meanwhile, the Storm Pack is still building power. The Indestructibles & Chryandemus's yellow-cloaked plaguemen do much the same.
172 / The nation of Berellia takes hold of a large part of Fasune. An alliance of dragons forms the Order of Kren'atan on Palhur. The People of the Wind claim the whole of the northern deserts on Taggarus.
166 / The Storm Pack wins its first victory, gaining a small territory in the central regions of Ranu. Maraddon marks the site so as to build a lavish truth temple there, in honor of his answered prayers for victory. The village where the battle took place was called Anlir.
165 / The nation of Tarahin, centered in Ienova, begins to dissolve when no True Emperor is found. The Door of the Sun will not open, the Sword of Tongues has not appeared. A Steward is picked from one of the Ten Imperial Houses.
163 / The Indestructibles nearly wipe out the wasteland giants of western Ansulym. The territory they take is left more barren & lifeless than before. Instead of staying to rule it, they move on.
157 / The continent of Cassaru forges an alliance amongst its city-states. The Alliance of Madziar then begins making a massive seawall around the entire continent.
155 / The Storm Pack is defeated by the Tenzanese at the town of Aisarne. The Indestructibles continue raiding in western Ansulym. The Pack retreats & turns to take the city-state of Olympus.
152 / Olympia (named for the city she was born in) is born to Giani & Maraddon. The Storm Pack splits. Kavian takes the bulk back toward Aisarne while Maraddon holds Olympus.
148 / Kavian takes Aisarne & the Storm Pack is once more united. They begin a march down the plains to the city of Kyo-kuntai. Kavian is wounded in a skirmish before they can take the city. Grusaag goes mad with rage & unleashes a flood that destroys the city entirely.
147 / Maraddon, leader of the Pack while Kavian recovers, hatches a plan to take the city of Hundo, capital of Tenzanai. Using naval support brought in secretly from the Wall Islands, he manages to take the massive city with little resistance. He renames the city for himself.
144 / The Indestructibles destroy the power of the doppleganger princes of Mwyr Aeld, after eight years of raiding & plotting. The Storm Pack continues to hold their small territory on Ranu.
141 / On Taggarus, the Vimalans unify the southern regions of the continent while the northern deserts erupt into war once more. The central jungles are ridden with strife between the tribes, but the roachmen & the nataxi are the most notable threats.
139 / The Lovell tribe crosses the Island Bridge from Taggarus to Ranu.
138 / Rayner is born to Maraddon & Giani. An unsteady peace reigns on Ranu. The dwarves & elves on Ailanea declare war on each other, however, after political negotiations fall through.
136 / Olympia comes of age & takes the name Lucksmith, which is how she is Entitled. She joins the Pack & becomes a close companion of the Stormbringer. The Indestructibles tire of ruling the ruins of Mwyr Aeld & move on to the nascent Caerdwellow, a drow elven nation.
135 / The Storm Pack is beset by a concentrated attack by Galdunic forces. Maraddon leads a diplomatic team to the Galdunic capital to try to negotiate peace. Kavian wins a decisive battle in the riverlands, allowing Maraddon to score a better deal with the Galdunics.
134 / Maraddon, still in Galdun, arranges for the Galdunic princess to be kidnapped. Kavian holds her hostage & Galdun cedes much land to the Pack. Meanwhile, the Indestructibles raid Caerdwellow savagely, with the Yellow Cloaks backing them up.
131 / The Storm Pack presses its advantage & takes the Galdunic capital. The King of Galdun, in a fit of pique, has his capital burnt to the ground. As a result, his military leaders die in the flames. The Pack claims Galdun as its own.
130 / Isidore is born. Olympia leaves the Pack & goes to Merukis to seek her own way. The Galdunic people hail the Pack as heroes & declare Kavian their King.
128 / The Indestructibles are forced out of Caerdwellow by drow elven sorcerors. They go to Tyrith instead, a small nation on northern Ansulym. There, they begin a nasty campaign of terror. The Pack rules relatively peacefully in their territories, now split between the nation of Maraddon & the kingdom of Galdun. They become known as the Alliance of the Wolf.

123 / The Indestructibles bore of their nation of madmen & put them all to the slaughter. By the end of the year, there is not a soul left alive. They are attacked by a crew of Dhunic knights sent to scour Ansulym of evil. A siege begins. On Ranu, the Pack allies with Tarahin to fight Vesturia.
122 / Rayner comes of age & takes the name Shadowstep. He takes that as Title as well, & becomes his father's squire.
121 / The Indestructibles get bored of their siege & give the knights spiderweb plague. They move on to the central area of the continent, bypassing Caerdwellow. The Tarahin-Vesturia war continues slowly.
119 / Thorian is born to Maraddon & Giani, amidst the Vesturian battlefields. Olympia goes to Cassaru & tries to break the seawall. Her ship is destroyed, & she washes ashore. She is taken in by the shemir. Rayner is made a Knight of Galdun on the battlefield for saving Kavian's life.
115 / The dragons dominate Palhur, naming it the Empire of Kren'atan. Thirty dragons come to rule there, forcing the other races to become their servants. Fasune remains a warzone, with several factions vying for power. The Kren'atanics send forces there to conquer. On Taggarus, the nataxi & roachmen turn the jungles into a bloodbath. The deserts fall to the vicious manscorpions, & the southern regions hold as a Vimalan alliance. Ailanea remains a land where the dwarves & elves fight for power. The other nations there have been pulled into the fray.
114 / Isidore comes of age & takes the name Hunter. He does not join the Pack, though. He stays by Maraddon's side as Head Ranger, but refuses to be a member of the Pack.
113 / The Indestructibles burn the Nightwood. The Tarahin-Vesturia war drags on. All of Ranu is involved. The Storm Pack's power is unrivaled militarily: 150 people in the Pack & 7500 wolves, a standing army of 15,000 well trained soldiers, & two leaders who are unrivaled in their genius & skill.
111 / Olympia becomes devoutly luck faithful & joins a crew of roving gamblers. Isidore is wounded in the Collerin Mountains & finds refuge with a wild talent mountaineer named Gufric Hyrase. He brings this mountaineer back to his father, & a fast friendship begins.
107 / The Indestructibles discover that Chryandemus has half a million Yellow Cloaks at his command. The strain of this army is weighing on him, so they decide to lessen it by attacking every standing army on the continent at once. Each Indestructible leads a force in a direction.
106 / By the end of the year, the Indestructibles have defeated every army on Ansulym except the ogrish horde. They throw the last of their strength against them, watch the plagued slaves get crushed, then steal a ship & set sail for Taggarus. On Ranu, Vesturia surrenders on the terms that the Tarahinians gain no ground--all territory is ceded to the Storm Pack. Half the continent belongs to the brothers. Rayner is given the island of Ledea to rule & named Duke of Ledea.
105 / The Indestructibles land on Taggarus & begin by raiding in the Vimalan territories.
104 / In the relative peace wrought by 17 years of war, Ranu settles down a bit. Tarahin rules in the south, the Pack in the north. Giani gives birth to a baby girl named Kimber.
103 / Thorian comes of age & takes the name Quietgrace. He joins the Pack & takes his name as a Title. He beds his first girl as well, the first of several thousand. He becomes a courtier. The Indestructibles turn the city of Amorath in Vimala into a carnival of sin.
101 / Grusaag gives Kavian his first child, a daughter named Herala. She is born with snow white wings. The commonfolk refer to her as the "Angel Princess." The Indestructibles hunt & kill the Golden Serpents.
100 / In Kren'atan, the dragons break out into war. Five factions form. On Fasune, the Berellians finally take over, but factions still remain. Dhun loses to the Green Empire & their light churches are burned. Rayner rejoins his father's court, leaving Ledea to administrators.
99 / On Ailanea, the dwarves gain control of most of the southern area of the continent. The elves hold the north. On Ansulym, in the wake of the Indestructibles' campaign, the ogres have conquered what little resistance remained. Thorian goes to Ailanea to try to help negotiate a peace, but ends up just getting chased out by an angry husband.
96 / Gellendrun Martakan is born to a wild talent woman named Veris & a great talent son of the Flame Master. On Taggarus, the Indestructibles are forced out of Vimala by Magnus Jericho & his 9 warrior wives. Isidore is sent to the Kali peninsula to treat with the natives. He fails to bring them into the Alliance of the Wolf, but makes many friends before returning to court.
93 / Perival is born to Maraddon & Giani. The Indestructibles begin gathering victims to give the Plague of Wills out of the jungle tribes. The Pack rules in peace, from Maraddon City to Gusov.
90 / Grusaag gives Kavian a second daughter, Dapvaala. The Jorgendish raiders of northern Ranu begin harrying the coasts savagely. Kavian entreats Maraddon, who has the better navy, to deal with them. Maraddon, dealing with his own problems, declines. The brothers quarrel, so Grusaag summons her father to deal with the raiders. Vast swathes of northern coastline are flooded.
89 / Tarahin, appalled at the way the Pack dealt with the raiders, demands the Pack pay the surviving families for the damage done. Maraddon goes to Tarahin to work out a deal, while Kavian attempts to keep order in the north. The Indestructibles are defeated by the nataxi & roachmen, who allied to fight them. The Indestructibles retreat to the Island Bridge. For fifteen years, they hide. Thorian is kicked out of court for causing trouble with too many husbands. He joins a mercenary band & kicks around the small disputes on Ranu.
88 / Kimber comes of age & takes the name Brightfire. Her uncle is not present for her coming of age, so she remains outside the Pack. Instead, she takes a place in her father's court.
85 / Herala comes of age & takes the name Angelus. She join the pack with that Title, but opts immediately to go with the Vestal Virgins, servants of the Mother of Light. Kavian brings order to the north by claiming Jorgendheim as his own. Maraddon brokers a peace with Tarahin.
83 / Vannah born to Maraddon & Giani in the court of Tarahin. Many attempts on the Steward's life occur. Kavian faces the problem of ruling the Jorgendish.
81 / The Steward of Tarahin is put away in an insane asylum, having been discovered to have a hundred & ten dead children buried in his gardens. Maraddon offers to act as a mediator in the choosing of the next Steward. Isidore builds a cabin in the forests of central Ranu & takes to spending most of his time there.
80 / Gellendrun Martakan comes of age & sails for the Simon Academy to learn magic from Aurelius Simon. Maraddon chooses a man from House Corad to be the next Steward. Kavian names Leonus Hyrase, son of Gufric, to be the Lord of the Northern Marches, second in command of the Pack territory in the north. Kimber is given command of the city of Demopolis, where she begins building a menagerie of dangerous animals to amuse her. She also starts making political allies by giving docking & shipping rights to various powers.
77 / Perival comes of age & takes the name Stonegaze. He declines Entitlement & sails for the Simon Academy to study mind magic. On Taggarus, the Atanaxan forces, comprised of arthropodal animalmen, complete their conquest of the southern reaches. Thorian leaves the mercenary life to open a brothel. The Kren'atanic civil war ends with the five true dragons as victors.
74 / Dapvaala comes of age & takes the name Cloudheart. She joins the Pack as her father's squire. The Indestructibles leave the Island Bridge for northern Taggarus, to get revenge upon the continent, they bring a herd of morags with them. They set loose 1000 morags then steal a ship & sail south, to Palhur. Olympia marries a Kren'atanic colonel, but he beats her. By the end of the year, she has killed him & been enslaved. Kimber has five men flayed for trying to rape one of her maids, gaining a nasty reputation.
73 / Herala performs her first miracle, restoring the soul of an ender condemned for murder. The Indestructibles enter the Great Arena on Palhur, but are ousted & sentenced to die instead. They escape. Rayner is sent to serve as Maraddonian ambassador to Tarahin. Thorian's brothel is burned to the ground by a group of drunken raiders. Thorian sets out to hunt them down. Gellendrun is declared a body mage & continues his studies.
70 / Corella is born to Maraddon & Giani. Perival is declared a mind mage in record time for one of his program. Kimber arranges a quiet alliance with Ailanea. The Indestructibles scatter, setting certain plans in motion. Dapvaala is knighted & given command of a troop of soldiers. Isidore returns to court for the first time in five years.
67 / Vannah comes of age & takes the name Whisperer. She leaves to study magic. Olympia escapes enslavement & heads for her father's nation. Dapvaala gains the rank of Lady & is granted lands for her service to her father. Leonus Hyrase dies of pneumonia. His sons, the twins Carlitus & Carolinus, inherit jointly his title. Rayner weds a wild talent woman in Tarahin. The Indestructibles turn up in southern Palhur, seeking a lost temple.
65 / Goss is born to Grusaag & Kavian, giving the Stormbringer his first son. Isidore quarrels with his father, wanting to spend more time in the country. He reluctantly agrees to remain at court. Kimber buys a pack of night wolves. Perival leaves school to study on his own.
63 / Rayner's wife is killed by a Tarahinian knight. The Steward pardons the knight, so Rayner challenges the knight to a duel. The knight, a bastard of the Steward, refuses, & Rayner storms out of court. He gathers his own forces & declares war on Tarahin. Maraddon chooses to side with his son, but Kavian insists it is madness. He refuses to join the war. Herala performs her second miracles, scouring the town of Lannah of a swarm of demons. Thorian finally finds & kills the raiders who burned his brothel. Olympia arrives in Ailanea & becomes involved in elven politics.
61 / The Nation of Maraddon is nearly defeated by the legions of Tarahin, but the Stormbringer brings his forces into the fray. Isidore becomes disgusted with Rayner's actions in battle & leaves in disgust. Kimber captures the knight that killed Rayner's wife & sends his head to her brother. Gellendrun leaves school to study on his own. Vannah is declared a mind mage.
60 / Chryandemus finds the lost temple he sought & steals a Sceptre of Law. The Pack defeats the Tarahinian forces. The Steward of Tarahin surrenders. Maraddon & the Steward begin working on terms.
59 / Cadoy is born to Giani & Maraddon in Ienova. Maraddon finishes terms of peace & has a mansion built in the city. Kavian, angry with being forced to save his brother from a war he didn't agree with, leaves for the north. Olympia finds herself involved with elven & dwarven politics & ends up helping the dwarves take out the elven leaders. The dwarves conquer the continent of Ailanea. Perival beds a whore as part of a magical ceremony & uniwttingly contracts syphillis.
58 / Fye is born to Grusaag & Kavian. He is born with shadowy skin. Rayner is granted rule of the southern realms of Ranu, from the edges of the Kali jungles to the Hurrn River. Herala performs a third miracle: making the Diandora River glow brightly to light the way for a Roma tribe. Thorian goes back into the brothel business.
56 / Ahaus is born to Grusaag & Kavian. Olympia returns to her father's court & gambles her way into a noble title. Isidore is approached by Maraddon's people but refuses to hear them out. Chryandemus finds the pale horse on the plains of Palhur & rides across the oceans to Taggarus once more. Dapvaala saves her father's life when a mad Vesturian attempts to slay him. He names her his heir.
54 / Corella comes of age & takes the name Brightheart. She goes to Golden University, the first woman to do so, & studies warcraft & history. Perival creates his first vampire, which he promptly destroys. Herala performs a fourth miracle, bringing a chorus of angels to the Collerin Mountains to wage war against a morag. Rayner sends troops into the jungles to conquer them, but they never come out again.
52 / The Indestructibles, lead by Chryandemus, gather a host of plague men, demons, undead, morags, & other monsters. All is peaceful on Ranu, though tense: Olympia rules in the city she was named for; Rayner rules in Ienova; Isidore remains aloof; Thorian runs his businesses; Kimber rules in Demopolis; Herala serves her church; Gellendrun studies his magic; Perival studies his magic; Dapvaala serves her father & rules in Cwaerona; Vannah studies her magic; Corella studies at school; Goss, Cadoy, Fye, & Ahaus grow up. Kavian rules in the Packlands, Maraddon in his nation. The Hyrase twins serves & rule their own small duchy.
51 / Altsisi is born to Giani & Maraddon. The Indestructibles continue amassing power. Cassaru remains an alliance under the shemir; Ailanea remains the newly forged dwarven empire, Akazad; Palhur settles under the true dragons; Fasune settles under the Berellians; Ansulym continues as the savage ogrish playground; Taggarus remains largely Atanaxan, though it is dealing with the horrific Indestructibles.

48 / Elodia is born with silver skin to Kavian & Grusaag. Maraddon learns of a Gift called the Stone of Seven Truths from a tribe of Roma known as the Lovell tribe. He thanks them by giving them a herd of horses.

44 / Jhanson born to Kavian & Grusaag. Herala performs her fifth miracle & grants mercy to the Enslaved Monster in Tundregen.
43 / Cadoy comes of age & takes the name ibn Tarahin, much to the scandal of the court. He opts to enter the sun faith & study to become a Paladin of the Sun. Maraddon decides to move back to the city named for him, so his other young children do not follow suit.
42 / Fye comes of age & takes the name Shadowstep. He openly opts to study spycraft in service of his father, though overtly he claims to be studying politics.
41 / Marriman is born to Kavian & Grusaag. The Indestructibles reach the deserts of northern Taggarus with a host of 50,000. They go to war with the People of the Wind.
40 / Ahaus comes of age & takes the name & Title Lightningfist. He has trained much of his life as a warrior & joins the army. Cadoy becomes a full Paladin of the Sun & sets out to earn his sword & steed.

Sunrise in the port city Rethis, where he defeats a doppleganger warrior in single combat. Corella & Kimber get in a fight over politics.
37 / Cadoy meets the Lovell tribe & earns their friendship as well as one of their horses, a golden stallion named Royan, by healing a sick girlchild amongst them. The Indestructibles lose 15,000 to the People of the Wind but manage to reach the Island Bridge. Orehek born to Kavian & Grusaag with a skull for a head. At first, they think him dead, but the midwife tending points out that the baby breathes. Cadoy returns to Rethis, where the people hail him as a hero & have renamed the city Cadonia for him. He is displeased, but hides it & takes the job of defending the city.
35 / Blyze born to Kavian & Grusaag. He must be submerged in water to breathe. Altsisi comes of age & takes the name Swordqueen. She opts to learn warcraft at university like her older sister, but quickly quits to join the army directly. Corella takes her under her wing.

32 / Elodia comes of age & takes the name Silversong. She enters the service of the moon faith. Bartleby Lovell is born.
30 / Caspian Lovell is born. The Indestructibles reach Abaddon with 25,000 in their horde. They begin a strange ceremony.

27 / The Indestructibles send an agent to each Empire. Hranchak goes to the Kali jungles. The Hollow Child goes to Atanaxus. The Spiderfist goes to Kren'atan. The Rat's Sword goes to Akazad. The Shadow Priestess goes to Berellia. The Frost Dragon goes to the Packlands. The Landwaster goes to Maraddon. Each has a mission to spy, infiltrate, & kill as they can.
25 / Marriman comes of age & takes the name & Title Treetear. He joins the flora faithful. Elodia leaves the moon faith & sets out on her own.
23 / Caspian Lovell proves to be exceptionally intelligent. At age 7, he & his brothers Walder & Bartleby get lost, but Caspian leads them home. On the way, Caspian notes that the area is one his grandfather Oaste told him about.
21 / Orehek comes of age & takes the name Skullface. He refuses Packship. Instead, he chooses to go on a world tour of every library he can find. Maraddon gets news of thre Indestructibles. He sends word to Kavian, who immediately mobilizes his forces. He calls all his children in, as does Maraddon, but few choose to answer. Markos Hyrase dies of old age, & his grandson Vyakhos becomes duke.
19 / Blyze comes of age & takes the name & Title Fishscale. He goes to the marine empires as an ambassador. Hyun is born to Giani & Maraddon. The Indestructible host marches through Kali & into Tarahin's savannahs. Ranu is at war. At the same time, the Indestructible agents in other nations make their moves. In Kren'atan, Spiderfist raises a host of hell dragons. In Akazad, Rat's Sword stirs up the drow elves. In Berellia, the Shadow Priestess has a force of treerots. In Atanaxus, the roachmen revolt. In the Kali jungles, the tribes are nearly wiped out. In the Packlands, the Frost Dragon is butchered by Goss, Ahaus, & Jhanson. In Maraddon, the Landwaster begins ruining crops all over.
18 / Walder Lovell comes of age, & his younger brother Caspian convinces him & Bartleby to sneak off for an adventure. On the adventure, they meet Elodia Silversong, & Caspian develops a crush on her. Walder, a large, simple lad, saves her from a madman, but it turns out she was helping the madman by soothing him. Bartleby & Caspian steal food for the lot of them & they become fast friends. Caspian, being just a boy, professes his love for Elodia, & she, without thinking, laughs. Hurt, Caspian swears he will win her. He tells her he will find her again & have skin as silver as hers. He & his brothers set out.
17 / Bartleby, the only one of the brothers who can read, meets a skullfaced boy in a library, who tells him that there's a Gift that can give people silver skin, & it's said to be lost in the old elven forests. The Lovells stoaway on a ship & end up in elven lands, where Walder meets an old ring elf named Lyvanen. The old elf has caught spiderweb plague & begs Walder to take his Staff & strike him. Walder does so, & the old elf dies. Walder takes up the Staff, not realizing he now bears the Staff of Justice. The Lovells adventure through the elven lands in Akazad & end up facing the Rat's Sword. Walder kills him with a blow from the Staff. The dwarven emperor rewards the Lovells with a boon. Walder asks the emperor how his brother can get the Gift the skullfaced boy spoke of. An old dwarven scholar named Marik Hrond tells them at the behest of the emperor. The Lovells go into the heart of the elven forests to where it was said that the Messiah of Life was slain on First Shem. There, they face the Echo of the First Champion of Famine, finally defeating him by trapping him & hitting him with the Staff. In the fight, Caspian slips & falls into a sealed chamber, where he finds a dying elf with Silver skin. He uses his power, at the elf's orders, to take the elf's powers. The elf dies & Caspian gains the Silver Blood.
16 / The Lovells return to Ranu. The war rages on, with Maraddon & Kavian facing Chryandemus. Caspian learns that Elodia is with Kavian's host & goes to it. There, he meets the Stormbringer, who offers him & his brothers a place in his Pack. Thinking it an adventure, they accept. Kavian entitles Caspian "Argent," Walder "Keeper of Justice," & Bartleby "Hawkeyes." Caspian & Elodia begin a romance. The war continues & Caspian distinguishes himself, using his Gift to great effect. Walder protects his brothers well, & Bartleby proves an amazing scout. Maraddon notices them & becomes fast friends with them. In a conversation one night, they prove to know the location of the Stone of Seven Truths, from the night they got lost so long ago. Maraddon jumps at the opportunity, leaving with the three Lovells, Vyakhos Hyrase, a mage named Gellendrun Martakan, & Rayner. Kavian takes up the war alone, his brother having vanished in the night. Fog sweeps the southern empire as Kavian's worry grows.
15 / Maraddon finds the Stone. Kavian drives the Indestructibles out.
14 / Maraddon & Kavian meet in the town of Anlir, where Maraddon has ordered a lavish Truth Temple be constructed. They argue, though Kavian knows nothing of the Stone. Threats are made & war is declared. For the next seven years, the Packlands & the Nation of Maraddon are at war, as Maraddon refuses to use the Stone directly on his brother. Maraddon's family is out of the Pack. When Caspian sides with Maraddon, Elodia leaves him in anger.
8 / Maraddon confides that he cannot defeat Kavian, due to the ceremony Chryandemus tricked him into as a child. Gellendrun offers to solve the problem, if Maraddon will forge some specially crafted swords. Maraddon agrees & has the swords forged.
7 / Gellendrun goes to Kavian & pretends to have joined him. Before the battle, Gellendrun casts his spell & steals half of Kavian's soul. Kavian cleaves into Gellendrun's head, but rides ahead to battle. Maraddon, using Rayner, Corella, & Altsisi as his generals, & Kimber as his political adviser, corners Kavian's forces in Avandale, with information given him by Orehek, who he captured a week before. Kimber advises Maraddon's forces abandon Altsisi's & maneuver around to get the jump on Kavian, getting many of Altsisi's men killed in the process. Altsisi never forgives Kimber, but Kimber blames her father for not being circumspect. Kavian & Maraddon meet in single combat & Maraddon cuts off Kavian's horn, shocking Kavian--Maraddon should not be able to hurt him. Rayner uses his shadowform to sneak up on Kavian, & Maraddon & Rayner force him to yield. Kavian surrenders, but asks that Maraddon to pardon his children & keep those that remain safe. Maraddon agrees, then banishes his brother, not being able to bring himself to kill him. Kavian, Grusaag, Marriman, & Dapvaala leave. Vyakhos Hyrase dies of wounds received in battle. His son becomes duke.
6 / Kavian reaches Berellia, where he finds a war brewing. He puts his skills to use & discovers his brother Chryandemus amongst the trouble there, having been defeated on Ranu. The two fight, Kavian desperate & slightly mad. The battles are savage & in the end, both brothers are wounded. Kavian bids Dapvaala follow Chryandemus & kill him, bearing the Sword of Wolves. The Hollow Child of Filth is wounded by Kavian before that, & puts part of his soul in a Servant of Filth. All the other Indestructibles are killed except Hranchak the Decrepit, who escapes with Chryandemus to the Island Bridge.
5 / Maraddon finally gets everything in order & tries to unify the Packlands, the Nation of Maraddon, & the Kali jungles. He returns to the Stone of Seven Truths & empowers it.
4 / Bellflowers is born to Maraddon & Giani. Maraddon wins the Kali tribes by offering them his newborn daughter, who they believe fits their prophecies. Giani turns cold to her husband & refuses to bear him another child. Dapvaala fights Chryandemus in the Island Bridge & Seals the Sword, trying to kill him. He is not heard from again for over 700 years. Kavian slowly recovers in Berellia. Grusaag, in a fit of rage, rides on the back of a whale to Ranu. Hranchak the Decrepit hides in an ancient temple in the Kali jungles, where he dies of his wounds & is made into a mummy.
3 / Hyun comes of age & takes the name Boxmaker. Grusaag arrives on Ranu & attacks Maraddon, but she is defeated by Gellendrun & Perival. Maraddon has a void prison built for her at the ruined town of Aldergast.
2 / Maraddon splits up Ranu into 11 regions. Kali he sets aside for Bellflowers to rule. Shanovi, once the center of Tarahin, he gives to Cadoy. Gellfenn he makes the center of his power & puts Rayner as the ruler. Saranami, the region Demopolis is in, is given to Kimber. Rallow, where Olympus stands, is given to Olympia. Gwyne, which holds the new temple of truth Maraddon built, is given to Corella. Kayvus, further north, is given to Hyun. Jael'dworan, where Kamlus Hyrase holds his power, is given to Altsisi. Thaellendown, where Thorian's brothels are, is given to Thorian. Varahaven, far to the north, where Aldergast prison is being built, is given to Vannah; Prendais, west of that, is given to Percival. Maraddon orders each to give up their old names & take up his name as their surname, to mark them as the rulers of the realm. He then makes Walder, Bartleby, & Caspian into knights, as befits their race, & creates the talent nobility. Isidore refuses title as Heir, so the honor goes to Rayner. Isidore takes to his lodge in the wilderness. Kavian's children are ofered places of comfort in the empire, so long as they do not have children or sow dissent against the empire. Herala agrees & returns to the church in Lannah. Goss, Ahaus, & Jhanson join Maraddon's army, under Altsisi. Fye prefers to leave, & he travels the world. Arn, simple & savage, is taken to his hut in the swamps, where he is cared for. Elodia, heartbroken, goes to stay first with Herala in the mountains. Cassarah returns to the circus. Orehek goes to study with Perival.

2 / Gellendrun, half-mad from his wound, begins playing with Kavian's half-soul. Maraddon orders him to put it into the swords, as he said he would. He does so, creating the soul swords. One the Emperor takes for himself, the Imperial sword. One he gives to Rayner, his heir, the Heir's sword. One he gives to Corella, the Tactician's sword. One he gives to Altsisi, the General's sword. One he gives to Isidore, the Hunter's sword. One he gives to the tribes that care for Bellflowers, the Tribal sword. One he gives to Bartleby, the Lovell sword. One he gives to Caspian, the Argent sword. Two he gives to the distinguished twin sons of Kamlus, the Twin swords. One he sends to friends in Ailanea, but it is lost on the way to reevers, the Lost sword. Caspian is ordered to marry.
3 / Orehek & Perival have a falling out, & Orehek tries to leave the Empire. He is captured & sealed on the main island of Jorgendheim. Caspian chooses to wed Lady Donella Bryson, a mutant woman newly turned noble. His first son, Radro, is born.
4 / Marriman enters the service of Berellia. Bartleby quits service to the empire & returns to his tribe. The Lovells remain on good terms with the empire.
9 / Gellendrun's madness leads him to set out terrorizing the countryside. Many knights try to stop him & fail. Caspian eventually rides forth to stop him.
10 / Caspian is slain by Gellendrun. Prince Rayner sets out himself to stop the mad wizard. He barely succeeds in taking him down. Maraddon has him sealed in a tower of void-infused stone. When denied the right to use his Staff on Gellendrun, Walder quits his term as Keeper of Justice, saying that if he does not have leave to bring about justice, he cannot rightly bear the Staff. He gives the Staff to an Imperial knight & returns to his tribe.
12 / Bellflowers comes of age & is worshipped by the tribesmen around her. She goes to court for the first time & is shocked to find out what her parents are like. She returns to the jungles.
13 / Kren'atan breaks out into civil war once more, with holy dragons rising up to overthrow the emperor. They fail, & five dragons escape to find asylum in Maraddon.
192 / Aldo Murgen is born within a few years of this date.
