Thje only surviving deputy of Paul's men from Anlir, Wax was a sensitive man in his early 30s. He had a wife & son, both of whom died when Anlir was destroyed. Paul made him Sheriff when he decided to try to infiltrate the Green Cloaks, leaving Wax to bring word to the right people. He left for Malladin that very day.

Wax is bright & not too shabby with a cudgel. He knows how to handle a situation, but gets upset over tragedies. He invests all of his emotion into the people he knows, & when bad things happen to them, he lets it get to him.

He has recently become a captain of the city watch in Maraddon City, where he was trying to find help for Anlir. When the civil war hit, he rose to the top, leading the people to safety & sensibility. Now, he has been chosen to help choose the next Emperor.
