On one side, she's going to carve a spot for the Juniper seed, and cast an enchantment of the meta-magic spell she's been using recently to investigate "what if" scenarios for magic spells. She wants the ability to ask these "what if" questions, and she wants the information she gets to feed the Seed as well. In the long term, this will allow the Seed to learn about magic and start generating new knowledge. IC she wants to teach the Seed like she's teaching her children. OOC the effect could be that you (the GM) can give me suggestions about how best to do things, or suggest spells I could cast right now.

On the other side of the staff, she's going to enchant it with boundaries and meta-magic. When she slams this end of the staff into the ground, she wants to create and charge a magical circle around herself. She wants the edges of that circle to be impenetrable to everything /but/ magic.

LadyOfTheLake: My allies and followers will bring me word. Anyone who wears the chrysanthemum. Followers of the Golden Path, the Longest Path, or the Twins will find me as well. And the Runners or the Ragged Brotherhood

Qaneb: I would ask this: where is the Dealmaker? Where is he truly? He is a master of lies, and thus, he is always hidden. How can he be found? How can he be stopped? The Puck's son lost a favored servant to the Dealmaker long ago, and since then, the tricksters and brokers have been at each other's throats. It will all end when the Dealmaker's head is on a platter. Make that happen, and every master of samfie in the world will reward you beyond your wildest dreams.

ArchArcanist: "Ah, Starfall. The greatest of the mysteries. None beneath the waves can approach the part of the lands where it occurred without being overcome by the blacker than black waters around it. The currents, natural currents, avoid it out of fear. It is Mother Shem's Wound and more. When one consults the Currents, one sees its dark swirl no matter what one does. It is a shadow, a drain, upon the flows of the world. "It is perhaps an impenetrable mystery. Even the most powerful metapoliticians cannot break through those dark waters. Not even I am able to fully comprehend what is there, and I combine the Mysteries and the Currents. This is the secret I have discovered: more time passed between the moment of Starfall and the return of civilization than we believe. Something horrific happened between Starfall and the new beginning of recorded history that came after. In that time span, something entered The Pit and never came out again. "There are gods that do not know that, but I do. I have seen it, buried in the Currents and the Mysteries. I know also this: the numbers 9 and 6 are important now. I do not know why."
  • This likely is the 9 children and the 6 sons
Zudanese Consequent: "I had no warning. There was no ceremony for me, nothing at all. I simply had it thrust upon me while I was halfway across the world, serving another lady. I simply woke up in the middle of the night as the memories and knowledge of my entire race flooded my being. My advice is this: choose someone strong and bold."

I am Thannas Faebrenner, the Silver Fisher King Reborn. I am Offerant, and perhaps one day I will be Messiah. It is my duty to rule over all elvenkind, until there is no more elvenkind. I am the Silver Mother’s greatest servant, and I beseech you in her Name: be our salvation.
_Daenil, you are the Fisherman. To you, you will gather the elves of the world, guiding them to their homes.
_Endhathef, you are the Thaumaturge. To you, you will gather the ceremonies of rebirth, rejuvenation, and health, all of the most powerful in the world.
_Lamaera, you are the Tender. To you, you will gather the trees that will mark the salvation, and you will make the tea of their leaves that will transform the selected elves into new Manifests.
_Noinalla, you are the Healer. To you, you will gather the sick, the dying, those afflicted with the disease, and you will soothe them in their need, as would a mother.
_Rindacsa, you are the Counterpoint. To you, you will gather the lost, the lonely, the outcast, and you will urge them to return, and you will find amongst those who will stand as Counterpoint in the Ceremonies, and they will be the Consequents.
_Ennasrion, you are the Navigator. To you, you will draw the paths. You will guide the Last Elves in their quest for the seeds and the ashes, for it is to you that is given the understanding of location.
_Yloquith, you are the Armorer. To you, you will gather the materials you need to fashion great armors, and you will fashion them for each of the Last Elves, to protect them from the dangers they will face.
_Jheshemirath, you are the Ancient. To you, you will gather the histories of all the elven nations, living and long dead, and you will share this information with all of the Last Elves.
_Kohae'nuadhakiero, you are the Nexus. To you, you will bond every living species, and from this, you will offer guidance as to where to find the most potent individuals of each for the Last Elves to seek.
_Notamit'qaetan, you are the Mountaineer. To you, you will summon the obstacles. You are the one who overcomes the impossible, and so it shall be that you will lend this resolve and understanding to the Last Elves.
_Da’sabash, you are the Protector. To you, you will find the firebirds. You are the shield of the Last Elves, and the one whom flame cannot burn. You will bear the ashes to the Gardens, and, with your sister, you will protect the Last Elves on their quest.
_Rodaxana, you are the Architect. To you, you will guide the currents. As now you make vents such that the Stonedelvers might breathe, you will now make Gardens where life might begin anew, in the homelands of every elven nation.
_Anastasia, you are the Leader. To you, you will gather all of the information required to make the decisions of which seeds are planted where, nourished by which bloods or saps, fertilized by which ashes, at which hour of the day, through which ceremony you are provided. You are the leader of the Last Elves, unless you fail in my eyes.
_Your quest is to find the seeds and ashes, the bloods or saps, and the gardens in the elven homelands, then plant the trees and perform the ceremonies to save the elves.
_I am Thannas Faebrenner. I am the Silver Fisher King, Ruler of All Elves. Heed my words. Awaken.

[16:59:35] Lamaera: _Rindacsa, you are the Counterpoint. To you, you will gather the lost, the lonely, the outcast, and you will urge them to return, and you will find amongst those who will stand as Counterpoint in the Ceremonies, and they will be the Consequents.

[18:17:52] Lamaera: Hayun says, "We wish for you to consider guiding your people to our court. We have been given a soul mark that will unlock the mysteries of your being, as well as Mastery of our domain as well."
[18:18:21] * Nas fails to suppress a question. "What mysteries?"
[18:18:48] Lamaera: He says, "The sorceries within her that she is unaware of."
[18:19:01] Nas: Quietly, "Oh."
[18:20:20] Rindacsa: "That is a very generous and profound offer. I will need time to think on it, though. What would the Valhonians turn into under your patronage? What would you have me tell the others?"
[18:20:50] Lamaera: He smiles, "Ours is the domain of possibility. Of complexity. Of eternity. Tell them that."
[18:22:01] * Rindacsa smiles. "I shall, thank you."

[17:57:46] Rindacsa: "I was going to ask this question in the magic section of town, but perhaps you will have an answer."
[17:57:53] Lamaera: They listen, Rindacsa.
[17:59:09] Rindacsa: "It's become apparent recently that I need to improve my magical arts, but I am not sure I have the time I would need to study and improve."
[17:59:54] Rindacsa: "This is a little part of my home, Valhonia. Is there any way it could be possibly enriched, to give my magics an additional push if needed in an emergency?"
[18:00:45] Lamaera: Bohoniv looks at the crystal, then says, "That would not be difficult." He holds his hand out for the crystal.
[18:00:59] * Rindacsa hands it over.
[18:01:13] Lamaera: Thuhasbni holds up a hand, "Wait. There's... another path, but I do not know if you will like it."
[18:01:28] Lamaera: "I can empower your magical ability greatly, if you wish, in exchange for an oath."
[18:02:19] * Rindacsa pauses, "What oath?"
[18:02:40] * Stasi looks up.
[18:02:47] Lamaera: "If you swear to me on your Name that you will never, ever tell another lie so long as your soul persists, I will unlock your full potential. But know this: this is all or nothing. If you break the oath, you will lose all magical power forever after."
[18:03:39] Rindacsa: "No, I am sorry, that is not in my nature, it is not who I am."
[18:04:00] * Dasabash 's eyes widen as the shemir speaks
[18:04:34] Rindacsa: "If that was a promise I knew I would keep, I would make it in a heartbeat. But I am not strong enough."
[18:04:42] Lamaera: Thuhasbni is not a shemir.
[18:04:44] Rindacsa: "Or not strong in that way."
[18:05:00] Lamaera: Thuhasbni nods, "I had to make the offer."
[18:05:20] Lamaera: Bohoniv says, "Well, I need no promises to empower your crystal. How would you like it empowered?"
[18:06:04] Rindacsa: "Thank you for the offer, I am sincerely honored, and I wish others will take the mantle. The world needs more truth."
[18:07:05] Dasabash: thanks, my mistake
[18:07:05] Rindacsa: "I do not have the training of a battle mage. If it were easier for me to cast spells quickly, that would help considerably."
[18:07:28] Lamaera: Thuhasbni frowns, "What do you think I offered you?"
[18:08:22] Rindacsa: was that in my response to him?
[18:08:35] Rindacsa: or to Bohoniv ?
[18:08:43] Lamaera: To you.
[18:09:06] Lamaera: Oh, I misunderstood.
[18:09:11] Lamaera: Strike Thuhasbni's.
[18:09:18] Rindacsa: ok
[18:09:44] Lamaera: Bohoniv says, "I will craft into this a spell that will give you instantly the focus it would normally take a full minute to produce."
[18:10:19] Lamaera: He weaves his hands about the crystal, and as he does so, it shines azure. After a moment, the glow fades a little, but two more crystals appear, and he hands all three over. "Thrice."
[18:10:59] Rindacsa: "Thank you so much."

[20:52:31] Lamaera: Zevulun says, "One of my clients also has a seed you might be interested in."
[20:52:58] * Rindacsa turns. "Which seed?"
[20:53:05] * Stasi looks up.
[20:53:06] * Nas looks to Zevulun.
[20:53:07] Lamaera: "The ancient poplar."
[20:53:21] Nas: "You know Everett Littany?"
[20:53:43] Lamaera: "He has the sense to hate curseweavers as much as I do, so he comes to warlocks for alleviating his own curse."
[20:54:28] Nas: "Do you think he would give it to us?"
[20:54:31] Lamaera: "I have what I want of you. It won't hurt me if you use my name to get in to see him. I can't promise it will get much further than that."
[20:54:35] Dasabash: "How is he cursed?"
[20:55:22] Lamaera: He laughs, "He was part of an army of thieves who tried to steal Divinity from the Arbiter. His curse is to experience time slower than others do. Much slower."
[20:55:31] Lamaera: "Humorously, that makes him a better thief."
[20:55:44] Lamaera: "But he still does not like it much."
[20:56:25] Rindacsa: "Thank you for the permission to use your name to get in."
[20:56:33] Lamaera: He shrugs.
[20:56:57] Rindacsa: "What is he like? Do you know what he would be willing to do in order to part with it?"
[20:57:49] Lamaera: "He's a thief and a miser. I don't know if he will at all."

[19:14:17] Lamaera: She nods, Then you have many more to seek out. Know you the tales behind the ones used to resurrect beings already?
[19:14:44] Rindacsa: (back)
[19:15:10] Nas: "Only that many awful things were resurrected, and that we might be able to reclaim them if we are strong enough."
[19:16:12] Rindacsa: "We know some of the tales-- the many eyed god was raised for one, and we know that the First Ailanean silversmith has been raised as an abomination, and that she has been using the seeds."
[19:17:11] Lamaera: Yes. The ancient foe of my mother is returned, and many of his brethren. The Serpentmother, the Blood Goddess, the Trollfather and the Goblinfather are returned by the seeds, many at the hands of the bash tchelik Styrah Rhee," the Ailanean silversmith.
[19:18:59] Rindacsa: "So she has been responsible for the raising of dead gods?"
[19:19:20] Lamaera: _She has performed some of the ceremonies.

[19:19:52] Lamaera: The Many-Eyed God and the Serpentmother were her doing. Other followers of the Bone-Mother performed the others.
[19:21:33] * Rindacsa nods. "Why are they raising these dead divines? What is their purpose? Certainly a sphere can't have more than one divine."
[19:22:15] Lamaera: They are under the control of something much more powerful. Whatever that power is, it comes from The Pit.
[19:22:54] Lamaera: It is also known that each of them has given birth to a child that is one of the Nine Children. We know not if they controlled this, but it seems unlikely this would have occured otherwise.
[19:23:37] Rindacsa: "Is Styrah Rhee also under the influence of the Pit? Are we up against the denizens of the Pit as well as those of undeath?"
[19:24:51] Lamaera: It seems to be so, but how things seem can be deceptive.

  • <Lamaera> In the vast emptiness of space, the sun Angelos flares, sending a prominence, a great worm of flame, arcing outward, engulfing all of the planets as they are aligned.
    • our sun
  • <Lamaera> In a hall of pink crystals, an elf made of stars stands, bending reality around himself.
  • <Lamaera> Six giants stand beside the World Tree and hold up their arms, and light of every color flows outward, engulfing the world in a ball of energy.
    • The Sons
  • <Lamaera> A wagon bearing a garden of wonders a hundred feet long and six feet wide rolls through a mountainous landscape, and a swirl of magic pulses from it as someone weaves magic without effort.
    • The Valhonian caravan?
  • <Lamaera> A falcon that is not a falcon lays an egg deep underground.
    • This might refer to the Lote tree seed. (WT) "On Shem." (Druid Hollgynwysol) "held by a falcon that is not a falcon, or his servants, in a desert on the dark continent"
  • <Lamaera> A grey spider weaves a web across a vast black abyss, and a white and black felinian struggles in its bonds.
  • <Lamaera> A man with ebon skin, clearly dead but still moving, screams in rage within a massive tomb.
  • <Lamaera> Nine children stand on vast pillars, and they cry out, and they are answered by six voices.
  • <Lamaera> A fuligin man rides a fuligin horse, and before him the world trembles.
  • <Lamaera> A man in white and purple pulls chains that connect to vast entities, and they do his bidding. As he does this, a shell forms around a nation, and energies swirl.
  • <Lamaera> A serpent, a boar, a hornet, a python, and a weasel stand above the world, and it crumbles beneath them.
    • The reborn Gods.
  • <Lamaera> A dwarf with white skin and rust colored hair and... a being. A being with the face of a fox, the antlers of a deer, and the body of a minotaur, wearing the Armor of the Wild Hunt, but... kindly? ride with a lizard woman wearing flowers. With them is a thief, a crane, and a troll. Where they go, hope springs, the poor are heartened, and nightmares flee.
    • The other campaign
  • <Lamaera> In a desert, a demoness waits, holding a silver seed. The exact location is clear to you, a desert on Ranu.
    • This might be Orleans's friend.
  • <Lamaera> In a field of agate grey light, a steel grey fox lies in trance, around him a metaphorical library.
  • <Dasabash> the key for stopping the war happening right now. The coalition? trying to take over the world.
    • <Lamaera> Da'sabash, your question has too many answers, so I will only give you a few: A cross burning on a forgotten stretch of land. A small cult in the middle of a forest, building a house from scratch. A man with a thousand lives in his sword wandering with a man with long hair and a massive sword, a woman in sienna, and a few others. A woman in sapphire, wearing a rifle, living with wolves. A rain of silver fire wielded by a bard. An alignment of planets, but not all of them. An army of stars.
      • <Nas> That's the Sword of Memories.
      • <Nas> The army of stars is the Kyellezhian-Logos race.
  • <Nas> Where are my brothers?
    • <Lamaera> One is amongst books and thinkers in the sky. The other is amongst the living dead on an island of bones.
  • <Rindacsa> That poem we saw during the one-off where I played the guy who could drink oceans, what did it mean and where did it come from?
    • <Lamaera> You see a man blacker than black, the fuligin man, and he stands with the man in white and purple. He rips that man's heart out, though it burns him to do so, and he wields that heart. He points it at the Pit, and from the Pit arises... all of the dead gods, forged into one.
