You all stand on a platform that floats above a vast valley. Below, you can see the world.
You are in fact seeing the world's whole system.
Beneath you, a bantam, a flower, a flame and a grey wolf, an invisible figure, a red fox and a gold fox, a man covered in bells, a book with every a hundred symbols, a figure with no eyes no ears and no mouth, a hooded figure, a man with cloak blacker than black, a troll whose steps break the earth, a flightless blooddrinking bird, a man with a frothing mouth, and a jester in blue and green struggle over the world.
Tricksters and brokers and those embroiled in their war. In order: Honest Man/Odellino; Berko; Agni and Erennane; unknown; Puck and Soapy; Ghilim the Juggler; Book of Names (unknown?); Mouth Cultist; Midnight Canter; Harkan the Black; a troll of some sort?; Essence Drinker; Psychosian; Clurichaun.
In a forest, foxes of a hundred colors are at war.
Fox Wars. Description previously given in chat.
On a string of islands, a group of five figures (a serpent, a tick, an eye, a wolverine, and a boar) wait for something. On another, 9 gravestones sit with the names on them obscured.
Serpent is darkness or pestilence. Tick is oppression or darkness. Eye is usually chaos, could be vision. Wolverine is destruction. Boar is hatred. They suggest the pattern there is all of the dead Gods of First Shem, which suggests they are awaiting resurrection. The nine gravestones are a troubling mystery. In context, though, it could mean 9 other dead gods, or 9 potentially dead gods.
Across the world, strange looking swords with no shadows pass from hand to hand between the hundreds of groups you can see. Some of these groups are trying to find something that sparkles like the light of faith in the soul, but it is hidden with a group carrying heavy weights.
Obiefune swords and the struggle to control or destroy them. It is thought, but not strongly supported, that the latter half is the groups that are looking for the Final Sword outside of the Obiefune swords. The heavy weights are confusing, though, but they think it might be slaves or people under a geas. Given that it is compared to faith, though, the Final Sword is an unlikely interpretation. It might be something else.
Around the world, nine pillars stand. Five of them have pillars of light rising from them, four are empty.
The prophecy of the 9 Children. 9 Children will somehow determine the fate of the world. 5 have been chosen, four are unchosen. They explain that Kolodont, the brickmaker at the table, used to be one of the potential children until he was rendered simple in a riding accident.
A bird of silver flames and an elf with a crown of silver stand above the whole vista, reaching in every direction. An orange flower grows from a lake, and birds of yellow flame fly around it, each holding a different object: a spear, a flag, a knotted rope, a flower, a globe, a whistle, a crystal, a five pointed cross with a hole in the middle, a metallic heart, and a disc.
The Phoenix and Thannas are shepherding the Last Elves. The orange flower in the lake is the Lady in the Lake, and around her fly sun crows, each one holding a symbol of the Fulgent Blossom Pantheon. These are two groups that are your friends.
A vast tree holding the world together holds several seeds on its branches, each in the hands of a stranger, but the seed that grows /from/ its branch is missing. A group of people on a riverboat hold scales up and lanterns to light their way. A woman in a dress made of nets stands over another woman with her voice outside of her body and one with a crown of gold and a dress of violet. These three women are holding a rhomboid board with a series of drops of blood upon it. An old woman, a young woman, and a pregnant woman sit on a battlefield, weaving a tapestry that depicts elves with keys in their hearts.
The silver seeds near the World Tree are gone, taken by strangers, but some of them are nearby. Riverkin are on the river boat, with the Brotherhood of the Lamp, a criminal organization connected with them. The dress made of nets is dreams, so the woman is probably The Queen. The other two women are the Champion of Music and the May Queen. They are playing a game of the Puzzle of Bloods. The old woman young woman and pregnant woman are the Norns, and they are writing the deaths of elves into fate.
A man shrouded in darkness, carrying a book with thousands of symbols upon its cover, is reaching into the heart of an elf and pulling out darkness. A man with tattoos upon his bald pate has no mouth, ears, or eyes, but he is surrounded by bats, and he stands in a desert with sands darker than black. A hand, a heart, and an eye are surrounded by blue fluid, which they are draining from elves or injecting into them. A figure shrouded in blacker than black shadows merely looks at an elf and kills him. A great grey moth and an elf with grey skin work with men shrouded in white, killing hundreds of elves. A woman in a yellow, baked desert, shrouded by a dust storm, watches as elves starve before her. A falcon that is not a falcon stands on the shoulders of frail, sickly elves who stand guard over a silver seed. A figure with huge antlers rides a dark horse, and with him, hounds and foxes and wolves and other dark figures ride, and he is driving elves before him.
No one knows who the man in darkness could be. The tattooed man is a Cultist of the Mouth, and he is in the Fuligin Desert. Hand Heart Eye are indeed the drug runners, and they are indeed selling drugs to elves. The blacker than black is probably Harkan again, and it suggests his attention is deadly to elves. The Moth is the Hollow Child, and the grey elf is probably the Raesian Elf Consequent. The men shrouded in white are harder to figure out. The woman in the desert is the same demon that stole the World Tree seed--Pripoldnica, Lady Midday, the Desert Demon. The falcon that is not a falcon is the Dealmaker, and the sickly elves are unknown, but they are his servants and they have a seed. The figure with antlers is the Wild Hunt, and it suggests that he has expanded his hunting from faeries to elves as evil.
A great tower stands above a city of a dozen islands, and in the tower, a new day dawns.
The New Gods.
And around all of this, a giant set of scales hangs empty. And you all wake up.
Missing Arbiter.
