[19:33:59] Lamaera: Magic can control qi. Qi cannot control magic but it can be used to direct the flow of it slightly. The problem is that magic flows mostly in leys, which are like huge rivers compared to qi's flow, which is like blood through the vein. You need a lot of qi to affect a little magic... unless you tweak things, but that's complicated. Mostly, the only known use of qi to command magic flow has been on a massive scale, and it was not very successful.
