An empath who suffered a violent rape at the hands of an ender, she was on the point of suicide when Matrim found her. Through long talks & an unwitting example of goodness, he slowly convinced her life was worth living. When he left to be executed, he sent her, with Marg, to Argent Estate, where she was quickly taken in by his family. Slowly but surely, she revealed her ideas about an organization for doing good, & Datuna became quite taken with both her & the idea.

When she discovered Caspian was alive, & now no longer noble, she asked if he would court her. He agreed. Ever since, the two have been separated by Caspian's long, dangerous quest. The two exchange letters, mostly through Jarod. Meanwhile, Emily works hard at doing good. She has been given several Silver Torches & many servants to work with her, as well as funds. Volunteers have lined up. With the move to Ienova, she has found a whole new arena in which to work good. Her main focus is to the common people, though anyone who asks for help will receive it.
