Hambair Haqala, Vassal of Threads - killed Brespe 20, 2955 in Littany City. Found with his face cut off in his library and stitched to the stone bookshelf. Cause of death, blade to the upper back, laced with nightshade poison. Male, about 10,000 years old. Brown hair. Prophesied his own death: It shall come to pass that my last moments shall be ended by one with a thirst for slaying the undying. They shall fall in threes. Closer and closer. This crytpic prophecy is the only evidence that the Aeonian Killer kills in threes and the reason why investigators and conspiracy theorists suspect so many others as being victims of the same killer. No sign of forced entry. Human.
Nwa'Andaur, Minotaur Subsequent, Lieutenant of the Vermeil Blade - killed Seconin 11, 2964 in West Diamond City. Found in her living room with her face cut off and stitched to the iron door. Cause of death, blade to the lower neck, laced with poisonous essence. Female, older than Second Shem. No hair. No sign of forced entry, but the garden wall was low and easily climbed. First of several Manifests known to have been killed by the Aeonian Killer, and first known non-humanoid victim.
Almond Joy Loufburrow, daughter and Servitor of the dead second Champion of the Jester God, Candywoman - killed Quathry 30, 2973 in Quietgrace City West. Found in her shop with her face cut off and stitched to the counter. Cause of death, blade to the stomach, laced with mandrake poison. Revel. Female, older than Second Shem. Blonde haired. Parthan Rhymmoram, Squire in the Court of the One True King, Disciple of the Mirror Court - killed Llevemanya 18, 2990 in a hotel room at a resort in the Island Bridge. Found in his hotel room with his face cut off and stitched to the blue crystal window. Cause of death, blade to the stomach, laced with tsuchigumo poison. Male, about 50,000 years old. Aerligian. Orange hair. The investigation here was taken over by the faithful to the Mirror Goddess, and still Her truthfinders found very little evidence. The most notable thing they found that was not found at other scenes was traces of msawhat at the scene. Most investigators discount this as evidence, suggesting it was coincidental.
Hevegedh Ghuram, Childscraper, Servitor of the Champion of the Stillborn God - killed Masavrib 10, 2996 in the Mammon City West in a child's bedroom. The child was not present (found later many blocks away, hiding in an alley). Signs of forced entry suspected to have been caused by Hevegh. Found with her face cut off and stitched to the child's stucco walls. Cause of death, blade to the upper back, laced with heqet toxin. The child spoke of fleeing out the window when he noticed the Childscraper had entered his room. He caught sight of a black robed figure in the window moments after leaving. The child was a venomir and sensed Hevegedh emotionally. He did not sense the black robed figure's emotions. Hevegedh was a corrigan. White haired, female, about 75,000 years old.
Oliosi Zyrame, the Knife of Mana, Bailiff of Pentacles - killed Mada'con 30, 2999 in Lesser Spice City. Found in her hideout with her face cut off and stitched to the plaster ceiling. Cause of death, blade to the stomach, laced with green fungus toxin. Older than Second Shem, male. Bronze fur and black cloud "fur." Was hibernating when killed. Only victim known to have been killed in his sleep.
Suspected Victims:
Sarraem Rhuyanna, Handmaiden of Hearts, Attedant of Sapphire Blossom - killed Separa'yim 14, 2908 in Quietgrace City West. Found in a hotel room two blocks from her high rise apartment with her face mangled and almost completely removed. Parts of it were all over the room, and one fragment was sewn to the plaster walls. Cause of death was bleeding out from a blade to the stomach over the course of two days. Traces of arsenic were found in her system, thought to have been ingested. The hotel room was checked out under the name "Soroise Fael'dreen," which matched no known records. Sarraem was a nymph, black haired, older than Second Shem. Most assume she is in fact the first victim of the Aeonian Killer (her death is three months before Sir Vance Do Arden's), but authorities have not classified it as such because the original case pointed toward a known slaver named Karl Volkv, a savant doppelganger Aeonian (Attendant of Thorns) who has alibis for several of the other killings. His DNA and fingerprints are on file and have not been found at any scene other than Sarraem's. He has never been formally charged, however, with any killings. There was no sign of forced entry.
Verror Khane, Misbegotten Priest, Disciple of Peridot - killed Brespe 4, 2911 in Monsapple City. Found in a hovel with his face cut off but not sewn to anything, authorities assumed his death was a ceremony gone wrong. He was alleged to have been cutting off his own face as a sacrifice to the Divine Dragon of Misfortune. Human, about 150 years old, brown haired. No other signs of physical damage (though he was blind from birth). Verror's death was ruled accidental suicide until the case was looked at again in light of the Aeonian Killer. Because the original case was closed, there's very little evidence or information on this killing.
Yaitak ahn Nurrik, Dedicate of the Mind - killed Tasivacio 4, 2946 in Hydrargyrum City. Found in an alley way behind a fast food restaurant with his face mauled but not cut off. His apartment was five miles away, but his car was found a hundred miles away, on another floating island in Hydrargyrum City. Cause of death, blade to the groin, laced with succubus poison. Male psionist, about 2,000 years old, brown hair. This death comes in the midst of a nearly 20 year dry spell for the Aeonian Killer. The car was found parked, with no fuel left. Fingerprints belonging to a pair of teenagers named Hyfetz Fellgrav and Nurrimbaldi Malaa'e (both also male psionists) were found in the vehicle. Both claimed they "found" it on the same island they left it on and went for a joy ride. According to them, they found it abandoned with half a tank of fuel on the island (this was not a flying car and it could not have been transported to the island from where Yaitak died without being drawn by a large transporter). Authorities suspect that Yaitak used his psionic powers to fight the Aeonian Killer, confusing him/her into not cutting off his face, however, the mystery of the car has authorities suspecting this might also have been a copycat killing or even a coincidence. Yaitak had many enemies due to religious conflicts between followers of the Old God of the Mind and the New. He would be the highest ranking victim if he were on the official list.
Uirdriol, Muckdweller, Servitor of the dead Filth Champion - killed Secomal 18, 2964 in East Mammon City in a fetid swamp. He had no face to begin with, being an aluvar deformed by his Servitorship. Older than Second Shem, no hair. He was known for selling toxic sludge from the remains of his Champion, and the Aeonian Killer is known to have used that same toxin to kill others, hence why this murder is suspected. He was killed by a blade to the back, laced with lye. Some believe Uirdriol was killed by a follower of the Hearthmother or another heroic figure or enemy of the Muckdwellers. His body was not noticeably mutilated. His known clients include, however, Karl Volkv, Nell Cuniaid, and Badger Crow.
Jobriath Traubert, Seeker of Lavender - killed Breginthresh 26, 2964 in East Diamond City. He was found in an Agikaani neighborhood killed by a blade to the upper back. No poison as found in the wound, but Jobriath's face was torn off and sewn to a brick wall on the streets next to where his body was found. Jobriath was about 9,000 years old, human, and brown haired. He was known to be vehemently against Agikaani nationalists, and despite his manner of death closely resembling that of the Aeonian Killer's other victims, most assumed he was killed by Agikani nationals sending a message. Others believe the poison used to kill Jobriath was one that vanished quickly from his system, and that he was killed by the Aeonian Killer. The fact that he would be the third victim of 2964 makes those who believe in the prophecy to think he was definitely a victim.
Lamanthel Hult, Soapster, Disciple of the Soapman - killed Tishar 28, 2973 in Merukis. He was found in an empty barroom with the body of his brother, Russk (see below). His face was cut off and spiked to the bar, and his cause of death was a blade to the lower back laced with nicotine. He and/or Russk would make the third victim in 2973, especially if counted together (being twins). Lamanthel and Russk were kalas with tan fur. The problem is that a cormoran named Huwaeng Park confessed to killing both brothers because they had been ripping him off. He was convicted and executed for his crimes, but after his death, doubt was shed on his confession (records do not indicate why). He was 3,000 years old, male.
Russk Hult, Soapster, Disciple of the Soapman - killed Tishar 28, 2973 in Merukis. he was found in an empty barroom with the body of his brother, Lamanthel (see above). His face was smashed in, and his tail was nailed to the barroom door. He was 3,000 years old, male, a kalal with tan fur. He and his brother were conmen Aeonians, and they had spent the night bilking Huwaeng Park out of his life savings after Park had insulted their favorite bar. After the night was over, they were sleeping off a drunken stupor in the bar (the bar's owner was friends with them, but she had gone home that night after the bar closed around 4 am). Clear signs of forced entry backed up Huwaeng's confession.
Dellsanto, Tenor of the Chorus, Attendant of Emerald Blossom - killed Breginthresh 22, 2980 in Quietgrace City East. Dellsanto was one of the oldest of Aeonians, older than Second Shem, male, white haired. He was found in his dressing room before a concert at the famed Thrush Center in northern QCE. His face was cut off and thread and needle were found at the scene covered in Dellsanto's blood. However, Dellsanto was known for sewing his own elaborate costumes. Cause of death was violent slashing all over the neck, chest, and stomach. Copious drugs were found in Dellsanto's system, but no poisons. Authorities note that some of the drugs might have caused problems with the tests. Dellsanto's lover Principia Aurorellia Minuet, a nymph, was accused of the killing and had been seen fighting with him and threatening him before hand. She was known to be jealous of the adoration he received from his fans.
Bandjus, Reverent Manifest - killed Brespe 20, 2985 in Quietgrace City West. He was found with his face cut off and nailed to a tree with a quicklead nail. The same nail was used to kill him, its toxic liquid metal blade having been plunged into his throat. He was around 20,000 years old and had brown hair. Male. He had been out walking in a park, and there were signs of a struggle. Because of his powers to step outside of time, it is unknown how he was defeated. His death is ruled only suspected because of the variation in killing and post-killing ritual, and because he was deemed too powerful for what most assume the Aeonian Killer to be capable of killing. Many think this a semi-copycat killing done by a powerful agent of the Industrial God to avoid capture.
Jaramus Shale, Game Hunter, Servitor of the Huntress's Champion - killed Masavrib 1, 2990 in Quietgrace City East. Found in a sewer grate with his face cut off. Her face was found two blocks away, stitched to a tree. Cause of death, blade to the groin, laced with wererat filth. Jaramus was 1,000 years old, a cocidian, female. She had long brown hair. She showed signs of having struggled, and authorities believe she was stabbed, knocked out, and her face cut off before she awoke and started fighting again, hence why her body was found so far from her face. She was cut along the left side, on both arms, and across her breasts. Signs of sexual assault were believed to have occurred after her death, but no DNA was recovered that was not hers. Doubt of the Aeonian Killer's involvement is because of the sexual assault, mostly, as no other victim was raped, before or after death.
Varradh, the Loyal Husband, Lieutenant of the Diligent Court - killed Mada'con 21, 2990. Along with Parthan and Jaramus, he would make three in 2990. Varradh was found dead in Monsapple City in his house. His wife was out of the city at the time. His face was cut off and stitched to the wooden door, and he was killed with a serrated blade laced with kindness poison. The blade entered only his neck. Varradh had been stalked by Nell Cuniaid for months before this, and authorities believed she was the killer, but Varradh's wife, Sothala, insisted it was the Aeonian Killer. Many believe Nell Cuniaid to be one of the prime suspects in the killings. Varradh was 4,000 years old, a bauxite dwarf with red hair. There was no sign of forced entry. The main reason this is not a confirmed killing of the Aeonian Killer is the serrated blade, which has not been known to be used at any other killing.
Crobbath, Custodian of the Quarrymen - killed Masavrib 11, 2993 in Nu City. Found dangling from a World Tree branch, Crobbath's body was slashed all over. His face was found a mile away, stitched to a tree. Crobbath was a shemir with white hair, andhe was older than Second Shem. He was killed by being hanged, making many believe he was not killed by the Aeonian Killer. Indeed, authorities later ruled his death a suicide and arrested a follower of the Mad God for defiling the body and obstructing justice. However, the follower, a shemir named Rhofika, swore until she died in prison of influenza that she was innocent. The case was reopened when an anonymous note detailing Crobbath's murder showed up in 2997 in Nu Corp's servers with no known source.
Teres Laburn, the Objectivist, Keeper of the Sard God - killed Separa'yim 3, 2996 in Quietgrace City East. Teres was a sorceress mrokus with brown feathers. She was 4,000 years old and female. She was found in her boyfriend's basement with her face cut off and stitched to the stone floor. She was killed with a blade to the shoulder laced with taipan venom. Her beak was not removed, perhaps because it was hard to do so. Her boyfriend, a mrokus named Hereddek Kavinne, was arrested and executed for her death, but his revenant came back and killed the jurors who convicted him with very little evidence. Authorities reopened the case after his revenant was destroyed, as the returned one was deemed evidence enough that he did not do it. There was no sign of forced entry.
Wohosph, Dragon of the Palhuric Sect, Disciple - killed Separa'yim 18, 2996 in the Palhuric Ocean. Wohosph was an aquamarine dragon follower of the elemental Palhuric Ocean. She was 500,000 years old and had aquamarine scales (no hair). She was found dead in her lair with her face cut off, but it was not sewn to anything. Authorities believe the killer might not have had the means to do so. Most of her hoard was stolen by looters after her death and the crime scene was badly compromised. Cause of death was believed to have been a poisoned trident laced with dragonsbane poison, but forensic evidence was destroyed by ocean currents. Female, no signs of forced entry.
Reder Ardluf, Ulus-Aerligian Manifest - killed Masavrib 14, 2997 in Monsapple City. She was found her garage, face cut off, sewn to her car door. Signs of a struggle were all over, and her head had been bashed into the windshield repeatedly. No signs of a blade cutting her were found, but several toxins were found spilled in the garage, all of which might have been used in her work as a mechanic. Her daughter was found dead four days later of an apparent suicide, having drunk bleach. Reder had blue hair, and she was older than Second Shem. Her funeral was attended by thousands and reported on by Nu Corp extensively due to her alleged affair with the Champion of the Hearthmother, who denied the affair and any involvement. Official notes indicate the alleged affair to have been libel by Nu Corp against the Champion and the Manifest both, but no charges were ever filed.
Luene Marillo, Hand of the Traitor Champion - killed Tasivacio 18, 2999 in Nu City. Current reports indicate that she was found with her face cut off and shoved into a garbage disposal in her luxury apartment. No word on cause of death nor other details.
Notable Missing Persons: There are over 80 Aeonians listed missing since 2900 that have not been found or accounted for.
Notes:
Poisons - It is believed the Aeonian Killer chooses poisons based on what would be effective against the current victim. The public does not know about the poisonings.
Faces - It is believed the Aeonian Killer removes faces as a sort of identity crisis. The stitching is believed to be ritualistic communication.
Esoterica - There is almost never any unusual esoteric energy at the crime scenes.
