Kasuji are very athletic. They can run very quickly for long distances. They are good at burrowing. They are associated with the Catacombs, the plane of the judgment of the dead, and they have the ability to enter it at will after about 70 years of life. Before this, they are capable of preparing dead bodies for their journey through the Catacombs.

Kasuji usually live alone or with a monogamous mate. They keep a small territory as their own, tending the dead there in their fell fashion and hunting. They are crepuscular and they are known for their intricate burrow-houses. They occasionally travel in packs.
