The Dark Keeper of Secrets, a specialist for the Empire of Tarahin in torture & intrigue, Paralaxyyl was a powerful minflayer who worked with the party for most of the campaign. He ended up with the Sword of Subtlety & the Sword of Memories, but gave up both when he was exiled from the Empire for assaulting an innocent merchant in Merukis. At this point, he had gone quite mad due to a side effect of mindflaying one of Avagen's Chosen.

He developed an interest in the purity of chaos, the lucidity of madness, & the paradox of a God of Chaos.

He started to worship the idea of Chaos, not the god, & he founded a cult, slowly but surely, gaining the title "The Mouth of Chaos."

His holy symbol is an Avagenic eye's eye, a wererat's ear, & a gnome's tongue on a string. His followers emulate this, but any eye, ear, & tongue will do. They stand for "see no evil, hear no evil, speak no evil."

He was present at the death of Avagen, & the resultant wave of entropy altered him, giving him superhuman constitution. He lived for many years after that, a mad leader of a mad cult. His power grew to be profound.

His cult is now the largest on Shem.
