A luminaire sky pirate who serves as lookout on a skyship.

Night Fleet
A fleet of pirates devoted to an elemental called the Night Storm, an umbral of significant power.

Pirates in the Island Bridge who wield ikehua lyua pele to create volcanic hideouts and weaponry.

Qursan
Sand pirates who wield hamsaat al-sahra (and sometimes other powers) to sail the deserts and raid settlements.

Pirates who wield conflueverant to seek fortune and guide their ships.

Ice pirates of the far north.

Sky Pirate
Pirates of the skies who wield kiiric yihi.

Stormrider
Pirates who wield bijalee to mask their fleets in storms or fly on storm clouds.

A tunneler pirate underground.

A brave pirate who specializes in taking big, dangerous targets - like armadas.

Freebooter
Pirates who use many forms of celestial essence and are generally fighting the empires and corporations, and never engaging in slaving.

A pirate who smashes oppressor shipping lines.

Longyard
A farseer serving as lookout.

Popinjay
A musician on a pirate ship.

Rascal
A "foppish" pirate by some accounts, a romantic hero by others.

A band of Rainbowguard privateers who hit enemy ships.

Yamazaki
A pirate, usually a freebooter, who specializes in using yahas to bond the crew.

Infernal Pirates

Robbers of the high seas, or sands, skies, or space. Ship-based robbers or hijackers.

Boilcutter
A ship's surgeon who spreads more disease than they prevent or cure. A pejorative term as well as a name for an actual (ineffective) innoculation policy.

Boucannier
A privateer serving a conquering or invasive country.

Diamond Claw
Part of the legendary Diamond Fleet who sail the Abyss.

Foghlai Mara
A pirate of the Indigo Sea who wields terror and sails in nightmares.

Hellkite
A broad term that has several uses:

• A crippler working as a pirate in the Indigo Sea.
• A ship's torturer in the Reever Sea.
• A captain who wields hollow magic in the RedOcean.
• Sometimes pirate who uses misfortune in Aurul Ocean.
• A Merciless (see below) anywhere the Mercilless are found.

Developed as a term generally for the most vicious pirates but evolvd in different places to mean one of the above.

The Howlers
A crew of pirates who scream as they attack.

Hulgalmalah
A puppeteer who is the captain of a pirate ship.

Irruptive
A Stillborn cultist who sails as a pirate on sunken ships deep below the surface.

Ledorub
A vityaz pirate who sails in an icecutter ship in the Borean Ocean.

Lure
See infernal slavers. Some lures work port cities as agents of slaving ships or pirates.

Marauder
A pirate who uses all infernal powers that they can.

Merciless
A member of the Merciless Brotherhood who has sold their soul to a demon for power.

Merciless Brotherhood
The pirate fleet founded by the demologer Zanil the Merciless, this is a fleet of demon-contracted reevers who wield infernum.

Mitho
A pirate who serves the Eldritch, sometimes sailing undersea.

Necronavarchus
A necromancer who specializes in creating and raiding with ghost ships.

Oqqohi
Space pirates who are nullifiers.

Rampager
An avenger in a pirate crew.

Sanguino
A pirate who gains power when they spill blood.

Sjorovare
A captain who wields Drenante.

Slaver

Smogship
An industrialist who builds massive, polluting ships that plunder the world.

Pirates from eastern Dabusen who wield fusei.
