Legendarily founded in the Godless Times on Second Shem, this fleet is bound to the Night Storm, a storm elemental is bound to a gate to the Hells, which lies in its center. The Fleet is usually led by a powerful Disciple of the Storm.

Crew(s) :
The Night Admiral, usually a Disciple of the Night Storm, leads the fleet. Captains are the Admiral's best warriors, while Quartermasters (known as Commanders) are the Admiral's best leaders. First and second mates and bos'ns are all leaders in the cult as well.

The shipmage is always a demonologist, demonomagus, stormtreader, meteorotractionist, brown alchemist, fell water-user, or combination thereof. The ship priests are always Night Cult priests.

Recruits are initiates into the cult. Any rank above that is a full member of the cult. Barber-surgeons often use infernal, aetherial, or mshawat-based. Navigators and lookouts are often given special demonic powers by the cult, and gunners of all ranks are as well. Masters-at-arms are known as Night Arms and have arnic and infernal powers.

Hellsgate Island: a floating fortress situation around the gate to the Hells within the eye of the Night Storm, this structure is made of infernal metals, woods, and flesh and bone. It is impossible to reach without passing through the storm and submitting blood sacrifice. Once innocent blood touches the welling seas below the storm, ropes of flesh drop down to allow sailors to secure their ship and climb up into the nightmare fortress.

Hellsgate Island appears to be a dark, rain-slicked, bloody disc of demonsteel and zaqqum with a series of forts along its rim. These are manned by demons serving the Storm. Beyond the forts are the 13 compounds where the cult lives, and at the center is the temple, which is situated around the Hells Gate.
