Celestial Essence

Celestial essence is the energy of born from resistance to oppression or from communal care. It is usually called "popular magic" by the people of the world, though ruling classes often consider it "forbidden magic".

Aemoa

The energy formed by loving communities before the Fall, the energy of matriarchy, now only accessible via ancestral bonds or in the resistance against patriarchy. Those specifically excluded by patriarchy often have this energy innately (women, trans people, queer people, etc.).

Ailanthan Energy

The celestial energy of trees and wood, of celestial plants. This energy derives from the people's use of, interaction with, and communal living with plants of all kinds. It is a subset of celeste water, the energy of people's interaction with and use of nature.

Amesnulfu

The energy generated by innovation, curiosity, and the drive to invent and create for the betterment of people. It is an energy of creation as done by mortal hands.

Avoo

Fabric made for and by the people. It is fabric infused with the power of the people, with celestial energy. It is a fabric made for communal use. It is a subset of celeste water, the energy of people's interaction with and use of nature.

Banaru

The energy of family, blood or chosen, of the clan, of the nation, and the energy of protecting children, of familial love. It is a subset of community, of yahas, a specific kind of community, formed for mutual support and love, bonded by nothing more than that familial affection. It lives in the blood, but not inherently. Its form as familial love sometimes means it is considered a subset of sakiaga or dumaqu.

Beejanu

The energy of celestial fungi. It is specifically the energy of the people's use of, living with, interaction with, and community with fungi. It usually takes the form of penicillin, mushrooms used for food, and other common uses. It is a subset of celeste water, the energy of people's interaction with and use of nature.

Botshepehi

The energy of loyalty to class, nation, or gender against oppression. The energy of fidelity, of constance, of prudence, of faith in and piety to a greater good. It is a form of belief and faith, celestial or popular faith, the power of believing in the people. It is derived from individual belief, though when wielded collectively, it becomes quite powerful. It is related to kalite, euergasia, and dumaqu, among others.

Celeste Water

The energy of salvation borne from the people. It is redemption. Celeste water forms when people save and help one another or other parts of the world. It is the salvation of the world made physical. It is celestial water, but it is also the energy that manifests in many, many other forms of popular magic (see other entries on the list for examples). The Celestial Realms exist in a vast ocean of celeste water, a series of magical islands in the deep cosmos where the people have formed realms free of infernal, imperial, or industrial magic.

Celeste Wind

The energy of uplift and release, the energy of good fortune. It is the energy of wind as used by, communed with, or interacted with by the people. It is the result of people putting wind to use for the people, infusing it with celeste water. It is a variation of serendipity, sometimes considered a subset thereof. It is a subset of celeste water, the energy of people's interaction with and use of nature.

Dando

The energy of sharing, generosity, kindness, and altruism. It is the overarching energy that includes tubumaru (the celestial or popular harvest), timthriall (the sacred hunt), and tahna (the energy of provision and providing). Some may include other celestial energies here as well. When one sacrifices rather than shares, it is kortamentu.

Dumaqu

The energy of celestial emotion, represented by a faceted jewel that includes love in all its forms. Emotions include comfort, loyalty, generosity, hope, joy, delight, happiness, contentment, wonder, awe, inspiration, gratitude, enthusiasm, curiosity, calm, serenity, trust, love in all its forms, confidence, bravery, relief, compassion, passion, and outrage. It is a subset of waarheid, the energy of celestial identity and True Names.

Elysian Essence

The shadowy energy of miracles, grace, and hope. The energy of aspiration and confidence. It includes Elysian shadow, a subset of celeste water, the energy of people's interaction with and use of nature, and grace, the state of pure miraculous confidence and hope, of being untouchable by imperial energy. It is also a subset of dumaqu, considered the most powerful form thereof. It also includes the power of redemption.

Euergasia

The energy of labor in all its forms. Some consider this the core of all popular magic. It is an energy of unity and solidarity, which is often associated also with ujjval aatma, botshepehi, and euphony, though this energy manifests in working together. Resistance to exploitation amplifies this energy even further.

Euphony

The energy of celestial sound, of music, of harmony. It is a subset of celeste water, the energy of people's interaction with and use of nature, specifically sound. It is the energy of sound as art, as an energy of harmony and unity, as a power of song.

Euphoria

The energy of joy, happiness, contentment, and delight. It is a subset of dumaqu, though often considered among the most important, the goal of all wielders of popular magic, though this is disputed. Celestial inebriation is often included here.

Euphotonia

The energy of celestial light, of vision, of inspiration, wonder, and awe, of art itself. It includes miyirnimo, the power of vision, warning, alertness, and vigilance, a more martial form of euphotonia. Euphotonia is a subset of celeste water, the energy of people's interaction with and use of nature, specifically, celestial light.

Euskepsia

The energy of wisdom, experience, and strategy. It is the popular or celestial mind. It derives from the power created when the people experience and learn collectively. It is a subset of waarheid, the energy of celestial identity and True Names. The people's sciences are often included here.

Harga Diri

The energy of self-actualization, self love, and self-esteem. It is a subset of sakiaga and therefore also dumaqu, but it is considered separate because of its individual power and use in personal transformations. It is derived of self-growth, of breaking free of oppressive values and finding one's true self. It is often sometimes also considered a form of waarheid. It is also associated with redemption.

Hegnh

The energy of hearth and home, of comfort and relief, of the safe haven. This includes hearth enegy as well, which is the power derived from the hearth itself, a symbol of hospitality. While derived from the building and use of homes, it has connections to community (yahas) and sharing (dando).

Iremia

The energy of peace, calm, and serenity. It is a protective energy, wielded by refusing to engage in imperial violence. It is distinct from juiah, which is violent resistance.

Jekhto

Celestial chaos. The people's need for release from oppressive structures and laws, from hard definitions and unfitting boxes. It is anarchy and full communism. It is sometimes utopian, sometimes not. It is sometimes considered the teleological endpoint of elemental chaos.

Jieshi

Celestial stone. The energy derived from the people's use of, interaction with, and being in community with stone, earth, rock, minerals. It is a subset of celeste water, the energy of people's interaction with and use of nature. It is a solid stone that has many uses for the people.

Juaih

The energy of protection and celestial war, wars of defense and resistance. People's wars. Revolutions and wars of solidarity, interventions against imperial power or conquest. It is the shield, not the sword.

Kalite

The energy of virtuous living. Distinct from principles, which derive from class consciousness, virtues derived from morality or ethics. The recognized virtues that generate kalite are altruism or charity, constance, humility, kindness, mercy, patience, piety or principle, prudence, resilience, protection of the meek (sanctuary), service to others, and sincerity, though there may be others.

Kartadsin

The fires of the people's judgment. Celestial fire. The burning away of oppression, exploitation, abuse, enslavement, and evil. It is a subset of celeste water, the energy of people's interaction with and use of nature, but also a form of lhair, the energy of justice itself.

Kortamentu

The essence of sacrifice for others. It is distinct from dando, which is sharing what one has, in that it is giving up for others. It is the mother going hungry to feed her child, the hero dying to save the village, the witch burning to inspire others, the organ donor giving life after dying, the rebel's defiance sparking revolution in spite of their own imprisonment, and more. It is the people giving up to help the people.

Kusalala

The energy of cleanliness and of purification, of forgiveness. It is not purity in the eyes of imperial powers, the false purity of racism or classism, but purity in the form of release from imperial ideals. It is purity in the form of a child's innocence and purity in the form of one who has washed or burnt away their prejudices. It is literal and figurative cleanliness, though it is most often wielded for the former. And it is forgiveness in any and all forms when it comes from the people. It often has crossover with kalite's mercy or celeste water's salvation.

Lailai

Celestial microbes. The people's use of microbes for the betterment of the people. It is vaccines, using microbes to clean pollution, and a probiotic medications. It is anything that uses microbes for helping or healing. It is a subset of celeste water, the energy of people's interaction with and use of nature.

Lhair

The energy of justice and outrage. The fires of justice, the light of justice, and the lightning of justice. It is true justice, justice of the people. It is the terror for which we make no excuses. It is also mercy and redemption, though these fit better elsewhere.

Liberation Power

The energy of liberation and freedom, of resistance to tyranny and oppression, of outrage. Liberation power is specifically the acts that fight agaisnt oppression to achieve liberation and freedom; freedom itself is closer to jekhto.

Miyirnimo

A form of euphotonia, this is the energy of vigilance. Sometimes also associated with juaih, it is a protective energy. The energy of alarm, of warning against danger, of alertness. It is vision. Waxkam, glass wielded by the people, is often derived from miyirnimo.

Nebu

The energy of the people's use of, interaction with, and living in community with metal. It is celestial metal, golden and shining, a metal made from the people's will. It bends without breaking; it sharpens only for good uses; it protects from the infernal. It is a subset of celeste water, the energy of people's interaction with and use of nature.

Opukavy

The energy of the people's use of, interaction with, and living in community with animals. It is the energy of domestication, but not exploitation and cruelty. It is living kindly and communally with animals. It is a subset of celeste water, the energy of people's interaction with and use of nature. When it comes to keeping pets, it crosses over with sakiaga.

Panokainattsi

Paper made for and by the people. Paper intended to be used for the people, with celestial essence within. It is a subset of celeste water, the energy of people's interaction with and use of nature.

Radiance

The rainbow energy of empowerment and celestial dreams. Split into its component parts, it becomes other celestial energies: white (euphotonia), red (tenyocan), orange (liberation power), yellow (euskepsia), green (euphony), blue (sakiaga), violet (euphoria), and black (Elysian essence). It is the energy of empowerment of the people by the people. It is the energy of the rainbow, a form of celestial light, and it is associated with the rainbow serpent, a being formed by the people's dreams.

Sakiaga

The energy of all forms of love, including acceptance, admiration, beauty, communal love, compassion, crushes, desire, divine love, familial love, friendship, kindness, passion, love of pets, romantic love, self love, sexual attraction, true love, and unconditional love. It is the most abundant form of dumaqu, sometimes considered the original form, and it has overlap with banaru, harga diri, yahas, euphotonia, and more. It is love without toxicity, without manipulation, without abuse.

Serendipity

The energy of good fortune, of good luck, of fortuity. It is a form of celestial wind, often associated with celeste wind, a subset of celeste water, the energy of people's interaction with and use of nature. It is good fortune for the people, not the ruling classes.

Tabait

The energy of health, healing, and medicine. The energy of compassion (meaning it crosses over with dumaqu and sakiaga). The energy of the celestial body, takat, is part of tabait, and this includes celestial blood. It is a subset of waarheid, the energy of celestial identity and True Names.

Tahna

The energy of provision, of succor, of support. It is a subset of dando. It is providing for the people, supporting one another, helping out with material needs. It is sometimes associated with amesnulfu. Tubumaru and timthriall often connect with it.

Tenyocan

The energy of bravery, valor, and courage against more powerful enemies, especially the ruling class. It is a form of dumaqu.

Timthriall

The energy of the hunt, of cunning, of respectful hunting. It is the unt in support of the people, of the community. It is feeding the people, but not killing in an unsustainable way. It is often called the Sacred Hunt. It is a subset of celeste water, the energy of people's interaction with and use of nature.

Tubumaru

The energy of good harvest, of gratitude, of bounty, of nourishment, of satisfaction. It is the energy of the people's harvest, of growing food sustainably, of agriculture and community gardens, as opposed to factory farming and overproduction. It is a subset of celeste water, the energy of people's interaction with and use of nature.

Ujjval Aatma

The energy of equality and resistance against inequality and of the celestial soul. It is as much internal equilibrium (the soul) as it is external (equality and egality and equity in the community). It is a subset of waarheid, the energy of celestial identity and True Names.

Waarheid

The energy of truth and true identity, of celestial True Names. It includes ujjval aatma (the soul), dumaqu (the heart), euskepsia (the mind), and takat (the body). It is often associated with the kalite virtue of sincerity, but also with harga diri's journey to self-actualization. It is truth in the face of imperial lies, it is living truly and sincerely in a world that lies to you about who you are, and it is truth as a weapon of justice, equality, and liberation. But it is also the hard truths, truths that are uncomfortable or difficult.

Waxkam

Celestial glass, glass as formed by, used by, interacted with by the people. It is considered a form of miyirnimo, as it is a tool most often used there. It is a subset of celeste water, the energy of people's interaction with and use of nature.

Yahas

The energy of community, of nation (a group of people with a shared culture and identity). It is the energy of small and big communities, but ones whose purpose is mutual support, not serving the powerful and rich. It is often crossed over with sakiaga for communal love and with banaru for smaller, familial communities. Euphony and ujjval aatma are associated with it due to being an energy of uniting and harmony, and euergasia is connected to it in terms of a community of workers. But it is mostly associated with communities before oppression and class society.

Yizhi Li

The energy of principle, of class consciousness. It is considered celestial law, celestial order. It is law and order derived from the principles of the people. It is not a series of virtues derived from morals or ethics, of how people should act based on some ethical consideration or moral absolute, but out of class consciousness, out of how to act if one wishes to defeat oppression and exploitation. It is a set of rules derived from resistance, solidarity, and unity.
