Dumaqu is the energy of the City of Jewels, the plane of beauty and love. The energy is split into several facets, and each facet has its own strengths and weaknesses.

Facets:
Dadu:
The facet of love, used in making abran rami, or love poetry.

Zammarutu:
The facet of harmony, used in making nigutu, or glorious music.

Banu:
The facet of creativity, used in making salmu, or beautiful statues.

Gamesu:
The facet of inspiration, used in making ummanutu, or perfect art.

Sihu:
The facet of joy, used in making karanu, or fine wine.

Dumaqu:
The facet of beauty, used in making salummatu, or beautiful jewelry.

Sitqulu:
The facet of grace, used in making raqadu, or elegant dances.

Uses :
With great works in any of these art forms one may, if it is dedicated properly, attain a jewel of one of these facets. The jewel may then be used for one of several purposes:

Duqqu, or personal improvement
La'u, or improving another
Huppudu, or blinding another via beauty
Kaparu, to cleanse ugliness
Gisru, to connect with others
Sabu, or improving an object

Dedications:
Proper dedications of works of art will produce these jewels from the City of Jewels. Dedications must be done either selflessly or in the name of one's art, not for fame, wealth, or power. The maker does not need to believe in or even know about dumaqu, but they must be sincere and honest, and they must be willing to lose everything for their work.

Special Classes:

Assinnu: orig. akkadian for male cultic sex worker

Pilipili: orig. sumerian for homosexual lover or transvestite

Parru: orig. akkadian for homosexual lover
