Chaotic beings that evolve at an alarming rate, becoming new & twisted versions of themselves over time. All oculars have a staged life cycle, growing from some sort of mindless pod to a massive queen. There are several main types:

Hive:

This type of eye is a basic Avagenic eye, which has several stages in its wild, chaotic evolution.

• Zeronysian Eye - normal beholder, once the astereater has evolved its main eye
  • Four stages: Pod, Zeronysian Eye, Seneschal, Queen's Eye

Planar:

This type is not of the hive mind, & lives in the planes.

• Catacomb Dwellers:
  • Kazenat - hatred-based attacking beholders
  • Orgal - destruction-based exploding beholder
• Hell Dwellers:
  • Gasther - darkness-based monstrosity
• Grey Lands Dwellers:
  • Empty Socket - void-based beholder
  • Eye of the Wall - undead-beholder
  • Moaning Socket - despair-based blind beholder

Terrestial:

Those that live on Shem, free of the hive.

• Guardian Eye - magically bound monstrosity
• Ancient Eye - psionic beholder
