A half ice-elf half drow-elf thief of the guild, and their gatekeeper in the sewers. A master of a number of different magical spheres, the walls and floors of the sewer obeyed him. He was the Maze Master, & he accompanied the Lost Hero across the seas to Ansulym, to face the first Goddess of Darkness. When the Webweaver stole her soul, he was one who made a deal with the Webweaver to try to save lives--not foreseeing the Webweaver's treachery.

Though Dmitri never knew it, this act laid upon him a curse to forever be lied to by those he trusted most, until such time as he risked them all to defeat something as dark & treacherous. He died alone & dejected, cursed & forgotten. His soul wandered for ages until the Father of Hatred, Egutu, tried to conquer Shem. With the Queen of Cats & several others, his soul ended up leading them through the darker portions of the planes & helping them up the Mountain of Trials. He gained his released shortly before the wild talent warrior Anshe stole Egutu's power & became the new Father of Hatred.
