A clergy with a very specific ministry in an non-religious organization.

Almoner
A cleric in charge of dispensing alms to the poor and needy, a popular position among the followers of Yatana.

A cleric in charge of creating holy space, popular among followers of Rota Futi.

Prelate
A notable cleric of the church of Kael'Ras.

Infernal Cultists

Members of a smaller religious group focused on an individual leader or small group of leaders who maintain strict control.

Croyant - definitive cultists
A cultist who is skilled in using stravomenos to brainwash people.

A witchfinder who belongs to a cult that is obsessed with sacrificing women to their Divine.

Stillborn Cultist - primary pravum user
A horrible cult of childkillers who gain powers via pravum, acts of depravity that give them strength. They craft knives of unholy might from the bones of their child victims, stalk and harm pregnant people, and kill new mothers as well.

Infernal Druids

Those who channel the power of nature. Infernal druids are distortions of actual druids.
  • Brown aether: The antithesis of a druid, there are no true brown aether-based druids, but there are violations of the world that pose as druids and wield this energy, called afulianists.
  • Cacophony: A variation on sonic aether-based druids.
  • Eldritch energy: a variation on conflueverant-based druids.
  • Ibbissu: A variation on conflueverant-based druids.
  • Gossamer light: A variation on the bright-based druids.
  • Sterisi: A variation on hamasat al-sahra-based druids.
  • Infernum: Some rare druids do bond to landscapes in infernal realms, mostly using demons as intermediaries.
  • Pravum: A druid of the deepest parts of the ocean may bond to powers of pravum. These are usually rare members of the Stillborn Cult.
  • Thorn energy: The most common infernal druid, these are a variant on a dewin drain with a thorn energy-based intermediary.
  • Uafas: Rare druids bonded to nightmarish landscapes in eastern Lyrilla.
  • Vile energy: Rare druids who treat bacteria, viruses, and other sources of disease as their companions.

Infernal Monks

Ascetics who practice their faith in small communities and take profound vows.

Eremite
One who fasts to honor their Divine.

Flagellate
A monk or friar who self-flagellates in honor of their god.

Frailthing - primary Sterisi user
Ascetics who starve themselves in order to create Sterisi, which they let consume and control their bodies until they are vessels of famine and drought. Their touch becomes a desiccating, malnourishing act of violence, and their spittle is acid, which they use to attack others.

A brother who bears the plague as penance.

A monk who wields fusei.

Infernal Nuns

Women who live in small, isolated communities, sometimes with specific tasks, taking profound vows of worship.

Abbess
A nun serving Benplesir and running a convent.

Cluthar
A nun of Giobog who has taken so many uafan chemicals that she only sees terrors.

Germana
A nun who is also a flagellate.

Lleian
A nun of Haeddiannol who cloisters herself with a communal thorn garden and small group of Aeldian women to serve her with their own blood.

A nun who serves Dernier Recours.

Those who travel to holy sites in honor of their religious history.

A pilgrim who travels to one of the infernal sites of power for their faith.

A street preacher who spreads misfortune by convincing people their lot in life is to suffer.

Redeemer - primary eldritch energy user
The Eldritch's secret Names contain the power to end all things. Doomsayers--err, redeemers--learn fragments of these Names, which they never speak, and write them with special quill and ink onto special paper, which they roll into scrolls and never look upon. But so long as they carry them, they may invoke their power to inflict a doom upon someone. They stitch their mouths shut so they cannot accidentally speak the secret Name fragments, but break the stitches to inflict a doom.
