As Shem is at nearly complete urbanization, many on Shem are taking advantage of cheap deals to move to Ruiz, which is largely unsettled. The Ruizanos and other beings already on Ruiz are resisting this incursion on their world.

Sessions:
1. Tickets: tentatively June 13
People are desperate to get off Shem. Though tickets are cheap monetarily, they come with other prices. Players would make characters who have acquired tickets to Ruiz at the expense of leaving family behind, leaving careers behind, or other major sacrifices, and would be passengers on a shuttle where something then goes wrong.

Setting: Merukis, island of criminals and corporations. Founded by pirates, it has evolved into a free market dystopia uncontrolled by anyone.

The wilds of Ruiz are strange. Living presences cause the landscape to change. Huge, violent beetle-men swarm and raid settlements. Locals discriminate openly against off-worlders. Players would make settlers who are trying to survive on the frontier.
