A thousand years ago, someone realized you could connect a computer to another computer through electrical processes. Five hundred years ago, someone realized you could do it mystically through the Seams. Ever since then, technomagic has exploded into new areas of understanding of the Seams, computers, and esoterica. Esoteric Computing.

How the game works:

PCs will be hackers who go only by their handles. It will take place entirely in Seamspace, which is usually just lines and lines of code and chat. Players will interface primarily via commands and programs. See here to design your computer: Computer Parts and Programs.

Sessions:
1. An Accident in the Seams:
Something happened in the Seams. A hundred thousand computers lost connectivity and then died, and a hundred people completely vanished as part of the Seams blinked out of existence. Players would be Seam-hackers trying to determine via their computers what occurred.

2. The Metanet Collision:
A computer error causes a data transfer to manifest physically in the Seams, and for physical entities at the site to digitize. Cleanup falls to the players.

3. Infinite Door:
A simulation connected to the Gift known as the Infinite Door is run by a major corporation that is masking its identity and inviting renowned coders, hackers, and other Metanet masters to try it out. Players would be those people.
