1. Callgorm Ashes
Callgorm trees are a form of witch hazel rich in fey witch magic. The ashes are a small pile of blue and violet wood ash collected into a small pouch.

There's enough inside to use it 12 times to gain +3 to her voelva spells. Runa can only use one dose at a time (bonuses do not stack). If she wishes, however, to focus the bonus on a specific aspect of her magic, she may use the ashes on a specific body part (a wound for blood magic, eyes for visions, fingers for weaving, tongue for singing, etc.). If she does this, the bonus is +4 instead of +3, but only for that specific use of magic.

2. Legend's Dress
A colorful dress made of threads of stories, concentrated fey magic made of the essence of stories themselves, fashioned by the legendary seanchai fairy weaver Suanach the Drowsy.

If Runa puts it on, she may choose one of the following legends from which to draw powers:
  • Bolla, ancestor who came from Jorgendheim to central Jesenya, a brave voelva who led her people from the islands to the central continent. She was a leader and strict in her command of her people, but with a depth of compassion. Drawing from her gives bonuses to hexing, binding, and blood magic.
  • Phaethusa, a distant ancestor who lived in Stayflies who saved a city from invasion by wrecking ships with her song. She was said to be alluring and mystic, and it is said her voice can still be heard in those waters. Drawing from her gives bonuses to singing.
  • Tielo, one of the early Jesenyan ancestors who lived as a man and worked as a silversmith; he had a human woman as a lover, and he made her a silver harp that played so beautifully, their harmony turned them permanently into birds and they flew away to be together forever. Drawing from him gives Runa magical silversmithing skills and easier access to bird form.
  • Zampia, a siren who lured sailors who were trying to return from a war to go back home. She knew these sailors were terrible - conquerors, abusive, and... to be polite about it, bad with consent when it came to women, whether their wives or not. So she lured them to their deaths, and she became a hero to the women she had protected. She is one of many heroines to certain cults and secret societies who fight for women in oppressive times. Drawing from her gives Runa bonuses to PRS to read the intentions of men and bonuses to singing to lure men.
  • Brynja, a siren who first bonded with bearded reedlings. She spent months mimicking their songs and dancing with them in the wild, learning to speak their language. She learned how they camouflaged themselves, how they could puff themselves up, how they moult, their preference for reed beds, and so on. She was a naturalist, and drawing from her makes it easier to take bird form, gives bonuses to flight and bird song, and allows Runa to speak to birds.
  • Eyvor, a powerful siren voelva who was known for her prophecy and divination. She led the tribes of the northern lands in war for centuries and was feared by those who sought to conquer them. She was a potent wielder of blood magic as well, and famously had five hundred enemy soldiers killed in a ritual to hex an Amolian emperor. Drawing from her gives Runa three prophecy tokens to spend (narrative karma) and bonuses to divination and blood magic.
  • Herleif, a siren who lived most of her life underwater. She spoke to fish, sang the currents, and was known for her power to call upon the elementals of the rivers, lakes, and even oceans and seas. She used her voice and her attunement to the waters to read the currents of the world. Drawing from her gives Runa the ability to speak to fish, bonuses to swimming, and the ability to read magical currents.
  • Kolbrun, an heroic siren warrior who was called the Spear of Wisdom. She fought for her faith and her people in the early ages of empires after having been enslaved as a child. After freeing herself, she went to her people and learned to wield a spear, then fought for them against the people who had enslaved them. She killed a warlord of great power, making her a heroine. Drawing from her gives Runa PRO, AWA, and spear skill.
  • Thorvi, a nimble dancer siren who became a graceling, a spirit of grace, the state of miraculous celestial liberation and protection. She was a dancer in a traveling troupe, and when they would stop anywhere to perform, she would take time to dance special dances with children, widows, and the infirm. Her dancing brought such joy and hope that she was found one day by a graceling, and from this spirit, she learned the dances of grace. Thereafter, she spread the power of grace through the world. If Runa draws from her, she will have a single narrative token to draw Grace, becoming an untouchable vessel of celestial power for one minute.
  • Asdis, a siren shieldmaiden who was sworn to protect a community from a demon. The demon came every new moon (which are more common on Shem, with three moons in the sky), and Asdis spent many nights fighting. Her shield's power was drawn from her heart, and she could protect an entire town from disaster with it. But the demon was relentless, and it took her life to destroy it. Drawing from her gives Runa +8/+8 toughness and the ability to take wounds for others.
  • Dagrun, a seeker of the improbable, a wanderer who learned to take paths unconnected to one another, a lateral walker; Dagrun was a siren who swam rivers and walked roads seeking answers to unspoken questions, and her many adventures, disjointed as they were, are told as folktales and fireside stories to this day. Drawing from her gives Runa the ability to teleport short distances.
  • Gunnhildr, an equalitrix (a nun of an ancient celestial faith) siren who lived among the poor and oppressed her whole adult life, fighting for them, feeding them, providing for them, giving everything to help them. She was accused of witchcraft by the authorities and eventually put to trial, but the poor and oppressed rose up and rescued her. She was, however, still grievously injured, but this did not stop her from her work. She is now a saint in her ancient faith. Drawing from her gives Runa the power to equalize with an opponent, thrice.
  • Jorunnr, a siren cori (sex magic user) who was legendary as a witch, feared and powerful. She used her magic in ways that were never replicated thereafter, permanently changing the shape of fey magic and lore forever. Drawing from her gives bonuses to sex magic and insights into the lore of the fey.
  • Myrgjol, a siren who is a member of a secret order (Runa would not know, but for Dani, it's the Theresans). She was a great spy who uncovered ancient and powerful secrets to defeat an enemy who had woven a conspiracy that gave her power over entire kingdoms. Drawing from her will give Runa the answers to one major campaign plot question.

Runa can change which legend she is drawing from, but it takes 12 hours to shift.

Runa can sense there's a legendary quest within this dress that if she completes it will unlock hidden legend. This quest will vary by which of Dani's former PCs she wishes to unlock. Dani must make this decision out of character, which will prompt the understanding of the quest in character:

  • Albert: must free six people from the prisons of the Vesturian Temple of Serpents
  • Rhevalla: must place a cup of fresh water in a specific cave in the ancient past, on the cusp of a volcano
  • Genfyllid: must steal nine arrows from nine legendary archers
  • Da'sabash Iftidara: must find the sandworm nest and drink the wormsblood
  • Berrin Toddbrook: must eradicate a rat monster in a city sewer in western Jesenya
  • Baeluhk Greniir: must best a great warrior in single combat
  • Arsul Toutant: must find his hand
  • Tilluel: must bring rain to an arid region of northern Taggarus on a specific time and place
  • Isidore Firfov: must find six threads with which to weave a prophecy that releases them from eternity

3. Jarn Spear
A tall spear made of orangish iron called jarn that seems to be a collection of slender iron threads that culminate in a sharp tip. This iron contains in it magic that resonates with the perspective and character of those who wield it, thus making the spear something that responds to those who bear it.

Because it responds to its bearer, the spear can be wielded by anyone - it becomes light enough to match their STR. For Runa, the spear responds not to her PRO but her voice, and thus she rolls singing in lieu of PRO when fighting with it, but as she evolves, so will the spear.

+6/+6 damage
