The Great War brought on working class revolutions in some areas, most of which were eventually crushed. However, one survived in Colesh, which became the hope of the world. Within the next 300 years, nine revolutions would follow that would reshape the entire world and usher in a domino effect. Certain key moments in these revolutions are caught in Fragments:
  1. Claw of Tecumseh: The revolution in Tohoniuk hinged on a military unit called the Claw of Tecumseh which rebelled against the ruling class armies and helped a group of unions overthrow the Major-General's government. Fragmentation means that this unit is lost forever unless restored by the players.
  2. Wise Counsel in the Sands: A revolutionary movement in Ubbariyya succeeded because of the nickel dragon Hryestoshth's strategic advice. Fragmented time has sent this dragon into oblivion, and players must either rescue the dragon or replace the advice--or prove it unneeded.
  3. Unshackling the Forests: The colonial government in Vada'dar is a united Srisian-Agikaani force that has occupied the country for 150 years. The resistance there is determined to oust them, uniting different forces against them within the country, including a group of mystics among the ama-ron and an anito union of farm workers. Fragmented time means that both groups never meet. Players must help them meet or somehow support their work.
  4. Burning Settlements: Gamon has been invaded and settled by a group of Jesenyan and Ansulymic corporate-sponsored populations. The Gamonian people have taken to burning their settlements and killing all settlers, which has caused a deep backlash against their liberation movement. History says they succeed anyway, but Fragmented time has caused a certain incident--the burning of Settlement 88--to be much worse. Players must help save five settler children in order to keep the backlash from overwhelming the resistance.
  5. Rojizo Mysteries: The sosiego of Nardin have developed a secret language of colors and symbols that they use to communicate so their occupying oppressors. Fragmented time has put the code into the hands of the oppressors (a mix of Dhunnic and Tromlui forces). Players must either steal it back or change the code historically.
  6. Currents of Liberation: In Amoloth, the people have wrested control of the waters themselves to use against the Dalurinean rulers. History says their victory is an easy one toward the end, but Fragmented time has quadrupled the ruling class's forces. Players must remove as many as possible to path the way for the Amolothians.
  7. The Island Resistance: Guah is a famous resort island where the people have been reduced to serving tourists. Their rebellion is swift and brutal, more of a slave uprising than anything else. Fragmented time has caused a flood that could defeat the resistance. Players must either stop the flood or save the people or both.
  8. Information Stones: The revolution in Laskar used special stones that stored information that could not be scanned by computers or even psionic minds that did not have a special psionic key. Fragmented time has caused the key to be lost completely, and the revolution desperately needs it back.
  9. The Impossible Revolution: All revolutions before Harkanheim happened in colonized or underdeveloped countries. A revolution in an imperialist country was always called an impossinibility until, of all places, the people of Harkanheim proved to the world it could be done. They did it without gods, without anything but themselves, and they did it against one of the most powerful ruling classes in the world. The most crucial of all revolutions, the one that started the sweep of the imperialist nations to follow, the Impossible Revolution is Fragmented by time and shifted in time, causing everything, the entire world, to be endangered. Players must find the keystone moment that must be corrected to save it.
These nine moments must be done in order, unlike others.
