Scythax Aliens Shebvic D'qiarsea Scythaxes appear to be 10' tall humanoids with several sets of arms (often a few missing) with red-burnt flesh, eyes of flame, and claws of hardest vulcanium. From the planet Behial in the Angeldawn system. Scythaxes are immune to heat, can breathe toxic gas, and are resistant to crushing. They are susceptible to sharp edges, however. They can will metals to solidity even in the greatest heat, and they can shape them with their touch. They live in magma caves and have a cultural preoccupation with "the perfect combat." Think of Behial as a larger, redder version of the planet Mercury, not a verion of Mars. Colos, a planet closer to the sun, is pretty much exactly like Mercury. Behial is the second planet from the sun.
Verethir Aliens Celestial Dumaqu Verethirs appear to be tall, slender, anthropomorphic plants with jeweled eyes and petals for "hair." Their skin can be any color, and their voices are high and strange. Verethirs' eyes can hypnotize any who look into them, and their voices can lull anyone to sleep. They produce tiny spores that fill any who breathe them in with lust, and any child born from an infected person will be a verethir. Verethirs live in small colonies in hidden gardens on Jahur, lost in the violent storms. They lure the strange fauna of Jahur to them and use them for food and procreation. They are miners, seeking special jewels buried deep beneath Jahur's surface. Jahur is loosely inspired by the planet Venus. It is the third planet from the sun.
Inoxan Aliens Infernal Arnum Inoxans appear to be floating membranes with long, thin tentacles, not unlike jellyfish, but with more features. Inoxans float naturally in any atmosphere (or none at all). They are psionic beings, specifically powerful with ponokinetics, or the psionic ability to trigger pain receptors. Inoxans thrive off the psionic energy harvested from those in pain. They have slaves from around the cosmos that they use for this purpose. They live in great nations of cruelty and conquest on Inoxuil. Inoxuil is a toroidal planet (a giat terretial ring) with a thick atmosphere and warm core that creates a massive jungle world. It is about twice the size of Shem and the eighth planet from the sun.
Kene Aliens Shebvic Shavev Mashkalran Kenes appear to be metahumans with angular features, bluish skin, and an extra pair of ears behind their fore-ears. They have small antennae in their foreheads. They are from the 41 moons of Weptaram. Kenes are mildly psionic beings. Their antennae allow them to sense intelligence nearby. Their extra ears do not hear sound, but pick up radio waves. They have an extra "voice" box that emits radio waves, and through this, they can control other kenes and some fauna of Weptaram's moons. They can see extremely far unless something is in the way. Extremely powerful kenes develop the power to destroy with their voices. Kenes live in very rigid societies, hierarchical and complicated. They do not view other species as valid and willingly enslave them unless a member of that species has proven itself by shaking off their control-powers. If a species is immune to control by radio waves, they see them as beings of chaos that are to be feared. Weptaram is loosely based on Jupiter and Saturn. It is the largest planet in the system, a massive gas giant. It has 41 moons. It is a vibrant swirl of colors with a series of beautiful rings around it. Its rings, known as the Crown of Weptaram, are one of the most magnificent sights in the system. It is the 10th planet from the sun.
Llassar Aliens Aetherial Bijalee Llassars are giants (14') with golden flesh and turquoise hair and voices like thunder. Llassars are immune to the cold, to electricity, concussive power, and heat. Their voices are loud enough to burst eardrums of non-llassars. Llassars believe they once lived on Thurudrill, sailing on vast ships through the violent storms, but were forced to flee by an ancient, dangerous beast that dwells there. They now live on Thuruvail, a moon very similar to the planet it orbits in that it is a place of violent storms. Llassars are nautical and astronautical, and they believe themselves to be natural leaders. The are from Thuruvail, the second largest and sixth moon of the planet Thurudrill, the second largest planet in the system, also a gas giant. It has 37 moons. It has two sets of rings that form a cross over it, covering two different equators, possibly because of a wobble in the rotation. It is a rich, soft violet color. It is the 11th planet from the sun.
The Ha'ull Aliens Shebvic Shebv Heya The ha'ull appear to be mixed chimerical anthropomorphic animals of incredible variety even in one individual, often animals that do not exist anywhere known to the mortals of Shem. The ha'ull have various senses and features of the animals they resemble. They also have one of several powers: armored flesh, open doors with a touch, temporary invisibility, absorb specific neutral energies, predict minor events, esoteric energy reserves, extreme speed, extreme strength, immovable stance, natural hunting skill, or quick learning. The ha'ull are beings of many nations amongst the moons of Mytoth, where they adapt to their surroundings quickly. They have many different subcultures and governing styles, but they tend toward isolationism. Mytoth the third largest and last gas giant in the system, it has one tiny ring barely visible from Shem. She has 11 moons. It is a deep bluegreen hue and has a series of visible anomalies on its surface known as the Nets of Ceronius, a series of net-like formations that may or may not be storms. It is the 12th planet from the sun/
Nelemerene Aliens Poioumenonic Arcane Shadow Nelemerenes appear to be distorted images in the facets of crystals. The mystery of their existence empowers them. Nelemerenes have never had contact with anyone outside of Unim, and no one knows they even exist. Not usually playable. Unim a mysterious planet with irregular orbit, it is small and might have once been a very large moon of one of the gas giants. It has an atmosphere of pink crystals floating in the air, which is where the nelemenere live. No ship has ever been able to penetrate this atmosphere. It has no moons. It is the 15th planet from the sun.
Avagenian Eye Aliens Infernal Ibbissu Avagenian eyes appear to be red-scaled floating eyeballs with tentacles and a variety of mutated forms. Avagenian eyes can wield entropy, and they sometimes mutate appendages and other features that can control, manipulate, or channel certain energies. Avagenian eyes float about a foot above the ground without effort, using a passive field of entropy that dissolves gravity between their bodies and the ground. Their eye takes up about 70% of their body and contains tehom (primordial fluid). They can see in a 360 degree radius, and they usually have the ability to see through solid matter. They have other random powers as well. Avagenian eyes live in the wilds of the planet Avagen in small, unstable groups. The groups vary in size, usually about 10, with the leader of the group being the most volatile. When an Avagenian eye hatches, it eats whatever is nearby, often the other eyes. Those that survive go their own way until they find a group to latch onto or they're killed. The few that manage to join a group get by scavenging and hunting the wilds, fighting amongst themselves, and vying for position. They die quickly due to mutations and the brutal world they dwell in. Avagen is a red planet of strange wonders and Abyssal waters, half-gas planet, half-terrestrial. It used to be much further out, but is now seventh from the sun. It has no moons.
Delothian Aliens Aetherial Anumun Delothians appear to be hairless humanoids with one set of human eyes and one set of insect eyes, dark pink skin, and stubby, tiny tails that they keep hidden under robes. Delothians are mystics who are adept at studying and using esoteric energies. Their insect eyes can see these energies. Delothians are scholars and mystics, creators of wonders like their crystal cities floating on seas of anumun, and observers. They are from the ocean world Salit. Salit is a beautiful blue ocean planet with no land above sea level. She has five moons, all of them Shem's daughters. She is about half the size of Shem. Though it is very close, it is rarely visible in Shem's sky due to the lack of reflection of light off her atmosphere. It is a double planet with Shem.
