Zevulun was once the Holyman of the Omri tribe during the Sixth Upheaval, 210 years ago. He began as a follower of the Old Order, but he was swayed to Warlockism by a friend in the Yael tribe. He attained his longevity in that time through the Practice (as Warlocks refer to it) and left the Riverkin at the start of the Purge during the end of the Sixth Upheaval.

After he left the tribe, he traveled the world with his friend and teacher, until the time came to kill him for the purposes of the Furthering, the ceremony in which a Warlock-Primant becomes a Warlock-Dominant by absorbing all of the Warlocks in the line. At that time, Zevulun killed all of the other Warlocks in his Circle (an uncommon and frowned upon action even amongst Warlocks) and began to build a new one.

At present, he is plotting against the legendary Warlock-Hunter, Lucas Tove.
