Witchcraft

Witchcraft is the modern adaptation of the very first religions (the Old Religion) in matriarchal societies. It is commonly seen as the worship of the Goddesses of Magic in any combination, though it is much more varied than that. It is also sometimes called Goddess Worship because of its focus on Goddesses and surrogates. It is also called the Religion of the Three Goddesses, because no witch ever worships less than three Goddesses. Most witches belong to a Coven or a Circle.

A witch's coven will have at least three members, each of which will follow the same three Goddesses. They will also have an opposite focus, one God that serves as a source of both antagonism and power. The balancing God in the system is respected or feared by the witches, but not worshiped, and referred to as the Brother-God..

Goddesses

Witches recognize all goddesses. Many worship just three or a handful but honor or recognize all goddesses, while others worship all of them at appropriate times. Witchcraft syncretizes the Old Religion with modern Viridianism, Genesis Faith, and a handful of other faiths. As such, some witches respect all versions of goddesses. Furthermore, many witches recognize certain surrogates, which they call Divine Feminines, who are not Divine but representational figures of feminintiy and matriarchy of some power. The most common all-encompassing configuration is as follows:

The Ancient Goddesses: The Seasonal Goddesses: The Natural Goddesses: The Unholy Goddesses: The Holy Goddesses: The Neutral Goddesses: Special Cases:

Brother-Gods

The Ancient Brothers: The Natural Brothers: The Unholy Brothers: The Holy Brothers: The Neutral Brothers: Forbidden Gods

Some Divines are forbidden in Witchcraft:
