The 12 virtues as described in the Graysonite faith are influenced by the 12 virtues of Heaven. In the
Promised Land, those virtues are described as

- Mercy - leniency, compassion in the face of wrongs, forgiveness.
- Humility - understanding your own value and putting others first.

Living Virtuously means living up to one or more of these Virtues with the intention of accessing Heavenly Light. To do so, one must act accordingly and without intention of violating the Virtue with the power it brings.
Typically, the power granted by Virtuous Living is in accordance with the Virtue being served and the magnitude of Service. Duration of the service, impact of the service, and sacrifice involved in the service are all accounted in the amount of power granted.
