A fleet founded by Donali Vace, a Talunese expat living in Merukis, who allied with Rosiel Rhea in her legendary rise to power. He survived the wars and chaos of her reign, then retired and left the pirating to his two sons. Over the Ages, the fleet has changed hands, back and forth, shifted alliances, but survived. Their primary targets are merchant/corporate ships rather than military targets, but they do not refuse a good score. Their main rules are to follow the covenant of the Merukisi reevers.

Crews:
Vace's Own have no special terminology for their crews. Admirals, captains, quartermasters, cabinboys, deckhands use standard terminology. The Admiral is almost always a member of the Vace family, human/pseudohuman folk with Talunese names. They specialize in having skilled gunners (so all gunner positions among their crews would be +2 in average gunner, combat, and AWA skills).

Vace's Own controls a sector of Merukis in the northeastern part of the island called Little Talune. It is home to many Talunese families. The Brightfire family of Demopolis has an alliance with some of the families here, but they pay tribute to Vace's Own to use this part of town. No Enforcers are allowed into this part of town unless invited or in the case of an emergency. The Vace fleet's bruisers take care of things in the sector. Notable landmarks include the Drunken Donkey Tavern, where the fleet's officers drink; Melanie's House, a brothel where the fleet's officers go; Vace Manor, the headquarters of the fleet and the home of the admiral; the Married Hen, the most popular inn in this part of town, known for its breakfasts and its beer; the Gunyard, finest gun-seller on Merukis; and Capicola, a large restaurant popular with the fleet.
