Animal Folk

Animal folk in the orbit of the moons, Shem, other planets, or the sun.

White-Headed Hagfish Folk: 5' tall anthropomorphic hagfish who ooze magical slime that creates odd mists in the lunar orbits. These slimy mists create traps that the hagfish folk use to capture their prey. They are skilled hunters who live as nomads in orbit.

Letter-Winged Kite Folk: 6' tall anthropomorphic kites (birds of prey) with white and black feathers. They are mostly white with black chests. They are very fast, very keen of eye, and very powerful magically. They live in mountainous communities but spend most of their time flying in upper orbit, hunting, traveling, and operating in general at night.

Millipede Folk: 10' long anthropomorphic millipedes who are much smaller than their animal antecedents (who can span between moons with enough time and magic). These animal folk variants are very long and can influence their animal counterparts, but they can only extend their bodies magically about five times their normal length.

Nightjar Folk: 5' tall anthropomorphic nightjar birds. They have brown, white, and black feathers, and they nest on the tops of lunar mountains, from which they fly through the orbits of all of the moons. Their songs affect day, night, dusk, and dawn. They are heard in spite of the lack of atmosphere.

Dance Fly Folk: 3' tall anthropomorphic flies with black chitin, starry wings, and huge red eyes. They live in vast swarms of tens of thousands which dwell in the orbits of the moons and worlds of the solar system, drawing in energies and creating complex patterns that cast spells, opening passages and creating special structures on which to rest.

Velikkit Folk: 15' tall anthropomorphic whales who fly between the moons. They are giants who ride their animal antecedents through the orbits of all three moons, living as nomads, and protecting the spaceways. They are very rare, living in small groups who patrol specific areas, and they are hated by the colonials. NPC only.
