Animal Folk

Animal folk of the depths of space, among the stars, between the planets and other orbital bodies.

Ocelot Folk: 5' tall anthropomorphic ocelots with four tails. Their fur is starry and dark, and they can travel through wormholes. They dwell in small communities traveling the cosmos on spaceships, living as nomads. They are often stereotyped as cunning and tricky.

Horse Folk: 8' tall anthropomorphic reddish purple horses. They have horse-like heads, usually, rather than centaurian bodies. They are very fast, and their starry eyes absorb light. Like most cosmic species, they are nomads. They are crafters and traders.

[Caspian] Tiger Folk: 8' tall anthropomorphic tigers with sparkling dark fur and shooting star stripes. They have heavy star beards, and their eyes are black pits. They are said to be very wise, and they often offer guidance to strangers, as they are often sought out for it, even though not all of them are wise elders. They worship various cosmic entities and have a deep spiritual culture.

Duskywing Folk: 6' tall anthropomorphic duskywing lepidopterans with dark brown mottled wings. They live amongst the stars, performing vast cosmic dances in huge cosmic cities. They are very alien, seeing the universe from a bigger picture view that few can achieve.

Blue Ground Beetle Folk: 5' tall anthropomorphic beetles with a blue infinity symbol of the backs of their cerulean chitin wings. They dwell in open space, flying about in small communities, studying the infinite expanse of reality. They are very scientific and philosophical.

[North Pacific ] Krill Folk: 4' tall anthropomorphic krill people with translucent skin showing within them fractal selves. They float in deep space in vast communities numbering in the millions. They each have multiple selves within, but their primary self is the upper one. They are extremely skilled at math and physics, culturally, and they move at tremendous speed when in deep space.

Kinkajou Folk: 5' tall anthropomorphic kinkajous with shiny fur and tails 12' long. They live among the stars in tree-shaped ships that they play in, dancing among the infinite expanse. They believe that if they ever stop their play, the stars will be unhappy and fall.

Jabady Folk: 5' tall anthropomorphic [Malagasy] civets with spotted fur. They live in a massive astral ship that wanders the universe; this ship is home to millions of lost species they have perserved. They are protectors of the cosmos's forgotten.

[Eastern] Chipmunk Folk: 4' tall anthropomorphic chipmunks with white fur and a blue infinity mark on their back. They leap from cosmic entity to cosmic entity and age extremely slowly. They gather cosmic objects to hide and store for later. They are powerful cosmic gatherers.

[Florida] Black Wolf Folk: 7' tall anthropomorphic black wolves who live among the stars and run in packs that lead starships through the deep cosmos. They know their way around the deep cosmos better than any others, being able to smell over vast distances.

Ox Warble Fly Folk: 5' tall anthropomorphic warble flies with striped bodies. They live in huge clouds of millions, flying through the cosmos and feeding on cosmic radiation.

Star Swan Folk: 6' tall anthropomorphic swans with long, flowing, glimmering tails. They live in deep space. They are very powerful with cosmic magic; they are known to be able to transform into their larger swan forms. They are a warrior nation who defend certain cosmic entities.

Tricow Folk: 10' tall anthropomorphic tricows, the three-headed cows whose milk creates the galaxy. They are a very strange species who live in many places throughout the galaxy, and their nations are varied and complicated. Those in deep space are nomadic wanderers, living on massive spaceships and exploring. They are a warrior nation.

Whirligig Beetle Folk: 7' tall anthropomorphic whirligig beetles with pitch black shells with small motes of starlight on them. They build complicated spaceships and have the most advanced technology of any animal folk. They are known as clever builders and inventors, and they are known for their extraction of rare metals from many cosmic places.
