Animal folk of the asteroid belt.

Barnacle Folk: 4' tall anthropomorphic barnacles with small black shells and white tentacles. They dwell on asteroids eating whatever passes by, be it energies or strange cosmic animals. They live in small communities on the asteroids, led by elders, and worship the deep cosmos, which they have a beautiful view of. They are very spiritual and scientific at once.

Smoky Bat Folk: 8' tall anthropomorphic bats with huge wings that have a brown underside and brownish black fur. They have four eyes and can see deep into the cosmos. They fly between the asteroids, living in caves on them, eating astral insects and small animals. They are hunters and collectors, having large communities wherein they pool their resources. They are known for the odd trinkets they gather.

Asteroidchewer Folk: 6' tall anthropomorphic beetle folk with starry chitin. They eat the asteroids they dwell on, flying from one to another as nomads. They live in small communities and are known for their remarkable strength and ability to eat stone and metal. They are a powerful warrior nation as well.

[Orinoco] Crocodile Folk: 9' tall anthropomorphic crocodiles with light brown hides. They have starry scales and shining eyes. They can swim through outer space and have maws that can bite through almost anything. They are known for riding their massive animal antecedents through the asteroid belt.

Tricow Folk: 10' tall anthropomorphic tricows, the three-headed cows whose milk creates the galaxy. They are a very strange species who live in many places throughout the galaxy, and their nations are varied and complicated. Those in the asteroid belt are nomadic ranchers, herding the animals they resemble, and selling their milk to travelers. They have powerful ships they use in this pratice.
