The Summoner's Guild is a powerful guild centrally located in Igada in Taggarus, but with branches around the world. The guild has a straight-forward hierarchy as follows:

• Acolytes: students
• Scribe: tenders of the Inscriptatory
• Novice: beginners at using magic
• Inscriptor: a full fledged member; gatherers of the Inscriptatory
• Summoner: a full fledged member; one who does the summoning
• Specialists: any of a long list of specialized Inscriptors or Summoners
• High Inscriptor: an elite Inscriptor
• High Summoner: an elite Summoner
• Dean: the head of the academies
• Grand Inscriptor: the head of the Inscriptatories
• Archsummoner: the most powerful of all Summoners

Specialists include but are not limited to Ochre, Rose, Aquatic, Avian, Aeronautic, Astral, Demonic, Angelic, Grey, Abominable, Morag, Draconic, Mycologic, Arthropodal, Reptilian, Desert, Greater [Diversity], Aeonian, Irritological [very rare, non-magical], Djinn, Green, Polar, Subterranean, Gyran, Lunar, Solar, Elemental, and more.
