A group of pirates who control the Isle Gate, a Waygate on an island in the Reever Sea (known as the Isle of the Gate). It is a large island (about 2/3s the size of Merukis) with no settlement on it nor native people. It is home to forested hills and a dormant volcano known as Kuhan. The Sparrow Fleet is devoted to the Gate, which they control the use of. Their control of it means a control of shipping through Merukis, but their role as neutral to the fleets of Merukis means a balance of power there. They are led by a triumverate of captains.

Crew(s):
The Sparrow Fleet is crewed by people from all around the world. Some arrive through the Gate, seeking freedom, and some come from Merukis or other ports. They all come seeking to escape or find a new way of life. The Fleet is led by a Triumverate--three captains of the three fastest ships--and otherwise, the crews are standard except the Gatesmage. Gatesmages are esotericists who control the Isle Gate and derive powers from it.

Headquarters:
The Isle of the Gate has a series of small forts where the reevers of the Fleet live. The main port is a massive stone pier with room for 30 ships. There is a stone road there that leads to the Isle Gate. The Triumverate lives at the main port in a trio of mansions.
