Infernal Insinsi
Mystic beings connected to a specific infernal, imperial, or industrial discipline.
Angreifer
Mystics who take over the studies of others.
- Lifespan: 1,000 years
- Diet: Common mortal fare
- Habitat: Mountains
- Socioeconomic Status: Ruling class
Angreifers appear to be anthropomorphic beings with high foreheads and a variety of color skin hues (white, grey, red, orange). They have fingers that are proportionately longer than one might expect from the size of their hands. They have hair on the fringes of their heads but not on top.
Angreifers have the power to absorb information gained by others if they have defeated them in battle, taken over their personal studying space (such as an office or even whole university), or stolen something of extreme value to them. They are also skilled at studying those they consider their enemies.
Most angreifers are embedded in imperial society. Once they were a warrior culture, unaligned, and their powers reflected that. But now they have evolved within the strictures of imperial culture and seek dominance, control, and to invade the realms of others. They serve in the halls of power as advisers, strategists, and cultural appropriators. Those who reject this are usually killed or oppressed for their betrayal of imperial values.

Iramist
Wrathful mystics.
- Lifespan: 800 years
- Diet: Meat-heavy mortal fare
- Habitat: Mountains
- Socioeconomic Status: Ruling class
Iramists appear to be anthropomorphic beings with high foreheads and a variety of color skin hues (red, orange, yellow). They have fingers that are proportionately longer than one might expect from the size of their hands. They have hair on the fringes of their heads but not on top.
Iramists have burning blood. While they can control their bloodrage, they are capable of tapping into it. They keep control of it much, much longer, but they gain lower stat bonuses. They are fueled not by rage, but wrath, the deep-seated anger that becomes vendetta. If they swear vengeance against someone, they gain bonuses to researching and studying their target. While they take WIL, PRS, and STH penalties during balerage, they do not take AWA penalties.
Most iramists live in imperial lands and are part of the imperial ruling class. They are part of ruling courts, universities, and other halls of power. Many are in the priesthood, serving imperial war gods especially. Their own culture is long forgotten, save a few rituals of swearing oaths of vengeance, vendetta, or destruction on their enemies. Those who do not conform to this are outcast and seen as weak.

Nadifar
Ruthless mystics.
- Lifespan: 1,000 years
- Diet: Common mortal fare
- Habitat: Boreal forests
- Socioeconomic Status: Ruling class
Nadifars appear to be anthropomorphic beings with high foreheads and a variety of color skin hues (red, orange, blue, green, white). They have fingers that are proportionately longer than one might expect from the size of their hands. They have hair on the fringes of their heads but not on top.
Nadifars can steal knowledge from anyone they have physically or emotionally injured. Intimidation is their favorite method, though some go even further. They can gain powerful magic from destroying their own conscience, something that is encouraged in their culture, but this is not necessary for them. They can also create an aura of dominance once per week.
Nadifars are a ruling class species who see themselves as the rightful leaders of any political, social, economic, or organizational structure they are part of. This is deeply ingrained in their culture, and they view anyone who rejects it as lesser than. They are almost stereotypical in their ruthless ambition within academic systems, especially.

They often use this to cause further distress - the more they cause, the more power they gain. If they cause enough distress, they gain the ability to inflict anxiety with a touch.
Sollicis are students and teachers of psychology and sociology. Their culture focuses on academic pursuits in understanding the hearts and minds of people so they might manipulate and control them, use them, or intimidate them. They are powerful imperial ruling elites who work in imperial universities and schools. Those who reject this are seen as strange and weak.
