Bhrocaire

Bhrocaires are fey folk with animal features. They have powers and appearances based as much on stories about their animal counterparts as reality. Their faces are usually more hominid, sometimes taking a shape that is similar to the animals but still human-like (i.e., bulging eyes on a frog person). But other parts of them are more animalistic.

Black woodpecker bhrocaires are 4' anthropomorphic woodpeckers. Black woodpecker bhrocaires have charms of wood and plant life. With dark black feathers and a red crest on their heads, they usually have sharp beaks. They are fey of the forests and fields, living in trees, making strange homes in the canopies and boles of large trees, and protecting their forested homes from strangers.

They are sought out for dream readings often, for a price, and they are respected for their knowledge.
