Dabelalaa
Living beauty.
- Lifespan: 500 years
- Habitat: Montane rain forests
- Diet: Self-esteem
- Socioeconomic Status: Oppressed
Dabelalaas are living clouds of blue energy that appear beautiful to whomsoever looks at them. Many confuse them for angels.
When someone looks upon a dabelalaa, they will automatically think of the dabelalaa and themselves as beautiful. They will see the best qualities of themselves and those they care about who are within the light of the dabelalaa. If someone near the dabelalaa is consumed with self-loathing, body dysmorphia, dysphoria of any kind, self-hatred, or any other self-directed negative emotion, the dabelalaa can join with them (if they consent) and assist them in combatting those feelings for up to a day. If someone is an oppressor, exploiter, or abuser, the dabelalaa will show them what is good about them, but it will be contrasted with their harmful actions and ideals. As such, oppressors, abusers, and exploiters try to destroy them.
Dabelalaas exist in small communities remote regions on Shem, but they can be found anywhere. Their main goal is to help others see their own inner beauty, and as such, they will often roam the world seeking those who need help, which they find tragically in abundance.

They can absorb positive emotional resonance.
Euphotons generate from acts of intense artistic inspiration intended to inspire and rally people. They only appear when art is made to benefit people and not control, manipulate, or deceive. They are form and seek others to inspire, creating powerful emotions to draw sustenance and magic from. They are generally eradicated by imperials if they find them.

Lindi
Protective clouds.
- Lifespan: 40-60 years
- Diet: Energies
- Habitat: Places of danger
- Socioeconomic Status: Oppressed
Lindis are rainbow-hued clouds that take on hominid forms.
Lindis can wrap around a person and form a protective barrier against physical attacks, infernal magic, and emotional or mental energies. They will absorb those attacks to increase their own power if the person they are protecting is not their enemy or an enemy of the people. They can fill a room in a building and make it a safe space for multiple people, and they can make it very hard to see those they are protecting.
Lindis are spirits of sanctuary. They exist in places where people are desperate and afraid, and they try to protect them as best they can. As they are very rare, there are only a few of them, and they can only do so much. Most of them are killed by the powers-that-be, who are the source of the dangers.

Nalukneng
Living energy beings who possess megaliths.
Naluknengs are living souls with no substance. They are embodiments of equilibrium who are only visible as a vague light brown light, unless they have possessed something. They cannot possess anything small because what they possess must be equal to the power within them. Thus, they only possess megaliths and large stones. Most possess carved megaliths, which they then reshape to have arms and legs.
Naluknengs have the power to possess stone and bring it to life if the stone is of sufficient size. Once possessed, they can alter it to take certain shapes reflecting their essence, usually giving it mobility and some kind of grasping ability, usually hands. They can see the souls of others if their stone form has eyes or if they are in their insubstantial form.
A nalukneng can absorb other energies directed at them and turn them into celestial essence if they have as much energy of their own to do so. They can only absorb and transform as much energy as they themselves already have, not more and not less. If they choose to wield some of their energy for something other than sustenance, they can unleash a blast of light that can alter the stats, abilities, powers, or skills of everyone in range, equalizing them.
Naluknengs live in small clusters, often found in secret places where people have been living in matriarchal, communal, egalitarian cultures for very long periods of time. When they form, they seek out physical forms that can hold them, then seek enlightenment and peace within themselves before seeking to see the world. Those who travel the world are outraged by what they find and often seek to fight for equality.
