Long ago, Rufaro was a queen. She ruled the nation of Tau as a generous and kind ruler, and all the animals of that realm loved and respected her. And then Zevulun came to her court and wooed her with promises and secrets, for he saw something powerful and dangerous in her. He tricked her into angering many of her followers, and at first, they followed her because they loved her. Then, he tricked her further, causing her to create injustices. The people followed her because they still respected her. Then, he tricked her into petty abuse of her powers, and then the people stopped following her. In the wake of their rebellion, Rufaro was cast down and damned.

Zevulun came to her again, and he told her he could save her. Instead, he lead her into the Practice, and now, nearly two centuries later, she is dependent upon him and his power, and she is his greatest Warlock follower.

She is a talking black leopard.
