| Description | Nagas appear to be semi-anthropomorphized king cobras. Their heads are snake-like, their torsos are humanoid, and their arms are humanoid. They have no legs, for their lower body is that of a snake. Some have merely the head of a human and the body of a snake. They are very tall, about 7', with a tail making them 13' long. They have hair on their heads and a hooded head. Their hair is knotted, and the hood has a ^ marking on it. Their scales tend to be very dry. Some have multiple heads, and others can take a human form. |

| Special Powers | All ophidian races have skills with sneaking and seduction. Ophidian races also have knowledges of medicines and poisons outside their own, and they tend to have much plant and fungal lore. Furthermore, they have a powerful connection to the Divine, giving them a natural bonus to faith rolls. One in every hundred thousand has some of the following abilities: immortality, cloudwalking, space survival, rainbow crafting, spirit speech, one time rebirth, commanding presence, soul-shaping, waterwalking, one time resurrect, horns, invisibility, thunder-making, rain call, unpierceable scales, shining scales, breath of disease, and know own death. All ophidian races are excellent hunters. All ophidian races have a higher probability of left-handedness. Nagas have excellent vision and smell (with their tongues). They are very good fighters, very intimidating with their hoods, and very aggressive. They can also use their tails to constrict victims, and their venom is incredibly potent. They are very strong. Their low growl adds to their intimidate score, and their flexible jaws are very useful for eating prey. Nagas all have some of the following, some of which is taken from the list above: rain call, cause drought, cause flood, summon storm, know direction, sense wealth, earthshake, water control, instant kill eagles, cause pain, and summon shadows. All have the power to know when someone will die, know the strength of those they see, and know when major changes will happen in their own lives. |
| Weaknesses | Nagas molt every year, leaving them vulnerable for a week. Light magic or faith can harm them. |
| Culture | Nagas are the persecutors of all living things. They exist to torment and deprive others of things they need. Nagas know where the elixir of life and immortality is, and they keep it from the peoples of the world. Oddly, the mother naga is a dedicated mother. Crossing a naga will earn the interloper a harsh vendetta from their victim. |
