Obsessions

  • Movies and Narrative - Quotes, stories, and the Greater Narrative. $
  • Paradoxes - The structure of the world, how it hangs together. Where magic and void come from? Science doesn't need them. Dreams are filled with Paradox, and we all have god like powers when we dream. Maybe the world is a dream, and we're sleepers and we don't know it.
    • Gift Engineering - It turns out that the Gifts of the Gods are customizable! Who knew? $
  • Restoring the city to it's full glory $
  • People machines - I want to understand how to build machines out of people. I don't have enough parts to do what needs to be done. $
  • Creating life and living - Bringing the inside outside, bringing people inside him to life and fostering the free will of others
  • Dreams and Daydreams - Journeys into the unconcious mind, the source of inspiration. I will spelunk myself.
  • Dancing and Movement - Studying why and how things move. Balance and momentum vectors (changing), and everyone loves emergent rhythm patterns!

Convictions:

  • The more limbs you have, the more you can get done in a day. Each is an opportunity, and the divine hold many threads at once.
  • Reality and dream are only as substantial as you let them be. We're all complicit.
  • Imperfections add character. Streams have pebbles, lots of pebbles, ever shifting. A river that goes straight is boring and without frothy white.
  • I love a challenge. Nothing of value is earned without effort. $
  • Machines aren't people, but they deserve their own rights.
  • Waste not. Everything has value. Everything has three different angles and three reasons. $
  • I am a Savant. I can dreamweave reality.
  • I build the best when I love something. I love everything because I love myself. Creation is stretching yourself over the world like a balloon. $
  • Form is just as important as function. Whimsy is a controlled resource like gold and shouldn't be discarded.
  • Magic could be fun to learn! It's a source of paradox, I'm sure of it. Gifts are Magic, and void cancels out the magic. I'm sure that magic is accessing that paradox and using it. It has a different set of rules, ripe for exploration. Spending it is like drinking the blood of a Universe.

  • Property Master Martane Hrond (boss). $
    • A mountain of a man. Strong, stalwart, and easy to hide behind. And devastating when he crumbles on top of you. Now he's structurally unsound.
  • Scumper and Walloper (assistants)
    • They're like satellites and moons. The smartest people on the set because they DO NOT KNOW ANYTHING. I thank the days they let me use their hands and eyes.
  • Alsa
    • A holy child capable of holding a world inside him and acting out all the pieces. He must be protected.
    • He is nacient (like us all) and out of his element.
    • He must be rescued!
  • Paolo
    • Capable and holds many people inside of him. Crafty.
    • Paolo has seduced Alsa for his own reasons, for pay. He gave him the gays. He's not to be trusted.
  • Alice, the young artist $
    • A matador, who lives for the chase of the bull, but only when she can stand smirking above it. She loves her pecadillios!
    • A coward. She lives in a reality where she cannot fail, so she'll never succeed.
    • Also a demon monster. But not mean. She wants me to fear and hate her!.
    • She's the part that twists and hits you in the eye, the part that squeals, complains, and the part you hate. You don't dare remove it though, because it warns you of other problems first. When it goes, your machine will break soon.
  • Angela, the mobster $
    • In her reality, she is a fly buzzing about giantic chaotic ideals. The only strategy is to attach yourself to a winning ideal and hope it takes you to a place with food. You can throw up and re-digest your twisted philosophy all day and think you are living.
    • No one complains when flies get splat. It's their nature.
    • Such dedication! She's like a flywheel. She stores energy and keeps going and going, but she needs to be pointed in the right direction.
  • Tilluel $
    • To live each day anew with a fresh eye and no skin! She is pure, sincere, honest, innocent, and naive. Perfect for a leading role.
    • Power has been thrust upon her shoulders since she was born. She isn't aware of the weight, so she doesn't bear it. She can't leverage that way either!
    • She's the part that's consistent and does it's job well, but other uses need to be coaxed.
  • Corbannon $
    • Firey emotions running under a bed of frozen politeness and apathy. I've never seen him raise his voice, but I have seen him burn down his home.
    • The random generator. He's a carbine engine on top of a radio wagon. Extreme speed, but and if no one takes the helm he just meanders.
  • Geminid
    • A brother and a snake in our camp. I will teach him as he has taught me. There is something pure there.
    • Unfortunately, he's binding me to the scissor man.
    • He needs to remake himself in order to be whole.
  • Diner Lady $
    • She's smart!
    • She's an important person to history and the greater narrative. A gnomish princess in disguise. She can see the world with me, like me. Can she see the world with me? What does she see?
    • She makes my tummy feel funny.

    • Tall. He's half a horse. His movies interest me.

    • I've survived my conflict and exceeded this challenge. War is a brutish business, all grey.
    • A solider now, glue that attaches to the resin.

    • Stodgy but friendly when you get to know him. He likes to read.

    • She's a good girl. I need to give her more playtime.

    • She likes gum and gives me trouble, but she does her job.

    • She was the most beautiful people I ever made. I loved her. She's happier now, but incomplete.
Fears
  • Angel of Famine
    • Dead for now, possibly still useful.
  • Scissor Man
    • Weak against acting, and easily distracted.
    • We can fight him with hats!
  • Glenda
    • She's an ocean of pain, despair, and misery. I can look into any's eyes and survive thanks to her. I share part of her burden. We're I not broken with many degrees of freedom when I met her reality, I would have snapped again.
